COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean, and pleasantly hoppy. With every sip this tasty IPA will take you back to your escape, such as local surf spot Trestles. Its strong copper color and clean finish on the palate are created by brewing with a 2-row malt and light imported crystal malt. We use CTZ and chinook hops and follow it up with the addition of dry hops of chinook and centennial in the fermenter bringing out a citrus aroma. Find your escape.

Bottle from Wine Emporium 190315. Stylish little number with floral and citrus aromas. Not overly hoppy but thatís okay. Golden honey colour with soft head.

Tap at Slaterís 50/50 - San Marcos. Pours clear orange with a medium, creamy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is fruity, floral, and pine hops with pear esters and honey malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness with crisp malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. The description said it would be light bodied, clean and refreshing. It wasnít really any of those. Brand new stock so as fresh as we can get it in Aus but it just came across like sticky, resinous tropical fruits. Was ok but nothing special in any way

Drank at the bar at Tony Romaís across from Disneyland while staring at the bartenders subpar tits and waiting for my family to show up. Heavy malt, grapefruit, so-so tasting orange, pine and sweetness that was off. A patron suggested it - "itís an IPA - thatís a bitter fruity beer". Thanks a lot, shit dick.

Purchased from the Fine Wine Delivery co. in a 650ml bottle. Iím buying more American beers as a compliment to the solid NZ beers that I normally buy, but unfortunately thats as far as my compliments can go, upon further inspection this beer was imported from the supplier in December of 2013 and I canít help but feel that this has had a negative impact on the aroma and slightly unpleasant stale after taste. Nevertheless still acceptable in the last of the NZ summer sun with good company.

Pours golden, sparkling, frothy head. Complex aroma of flowers, mango, grapefruit, hint of bread and honey. Taste: roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, nuts, grapefruit zest, tropical fruits.

Bottle - Gusher. Once it settles down, pours clear copper with a foamy light tan head. Nose is sweet caramel, a bit of bourbon twang, and some heavy bread malt. Taste is the same. Super sweet and caramelly, with spicy bread malt, nuttiness, and a little herbal hopping. Thick and slick with ample carbonation. Very little hopping to speak of. No bottle date on the neck where apparently itís supposed to be. Man, West Coast IPAs turn into absolute shit when theyíre (probably old), Iíve had my fair share of bombs, though thereís no way to tell the age on this one.

TAP. Cloudy orange pour with thick white head. Citrus hops on the nose. Heavy malts up front flowing into a sticky toffee, ending with a hoppy bitter back end. Sourced Meat People Dunsborough

Bottle. So much foam that it ran out of the bottle when opened and poured very tall head in a mug. Cloudy light amber color. Taste is light, a little fruity, with clean hops. Not as much hops as many IPAs, which is refreshing if youíre not a huge fan of IPAs. Excellent and approachable brew.
