COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean, and pleasantly hoppy. With every sip this tasty IPA will take you back to your escape, such as local surf spot Trestles. Its strong copper color and clean finish on the palate are created by brewing with a 2-row malt and light imported crystal malt. We use CTZ and chinook hops and follow it up with the addition of dry hops of chinook and centennial in the fermenter bringing out a citrus aroma. Find your escape.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear orange with little to no head. Aroma is strongly tangerine with some pine resin. Flavor follows with slight maltiness. Really nice IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12oz bottle with no bottle date Aroma - Orangey smell - perhaps due to the age of the bottle? Appearance - Hazy Orange - I can see some particles from floating around. Taste - The orangey taste doesnít carry thru with the taste. Malty and with a bit of bittering. Palate - Think feeling, not too smooth going down. Overall - This is another Left Coast beer that is a real "meh" for me. I donít know if I get them too old, or if I just donít like how they brew them.

Starts off slightly off taste, gets better as it warms. Average IPA. Good bit probably not one I would seek out again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pineapple, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of citrus rind/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel/rind, pine, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice IPA. Good complexity and balance of bright hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to sip on. A nicely enjoyable offering.

bottle @ Johnís Grocery / Iowa City IA --- Clear medium amber, full head cover, full mottled sheet of lace. Taste is dry malt and bitter floral hops that move in tandem through the palate to a finish that gradually becomes lighter, becoming a little like unsweetened tea, finally leaving a cleansing bitter that rouses the appetite. Very original, well thought out, balanced. A solid brew.

Light hazy orange with off white head. Aroma is sweet citrus. Taste is sweet citrus immediately followed with bitter rind. Then mellows. Nice.

Fairly uneventful triple. The India pale lager by green flash I just had was far superior. Some citrus and light astringency. Pours orange with OK head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Lots of malt. Bottle from grape and gourmet.

Aroma of sour dough, and malt with a hint of citrus. Cooper colored, with virtually no head. Taste of malt, trace of dried fruit with a bitter finish. Oily feel with a bitter malty palate.
