COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean, and pleasantly hoppy. With every sip this tasty IPA will take you back to your escape, such as local surf spot Trestles. Its strong copper color and clean finish on the palate are created by brewing with a 2-row malt and light imported crystal malt. We use CTZ and chinook hops and follow it up with the addition of dry hops of chinook and centennial in the fermenter bringing out a citrus aroma. Find your escape.

A good IPA. By definition, too hoppy, but the ale has a good malt taste. Light in color with an average head and medium body, it is a pretty good ale.

Malt heavy in aroma and taste up front, then into a definite sour, spicy, malty grapefruit bitterness. Not good. Might be bad, but no date on bottle means no sympathy.

Bottle. Classic California appeals -- copper-amber with a sticky head. Drinks with a sticky mouthfeel and a nice orange-citrus flavor profile. Definite sticky finish and cloying end. Left coast indeed. (#5448, 3/2/2014)

Classic new generation IPA. Meaning malt forward. Good malt backbone. Otherwise has all what you'd expect. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours very hazy opaque copper orange gold with a bubbly yellow-white head that lasts and laces wet. Aroma is candied caramel and citrus spice. Taste brings out caramel malts and bitter pine hops with the focus on the latter. Some grapefruit notes as well. Medium body and mild carbonation. A very good, but not great IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear, orange and with a medium white head that left a very nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is not too strong, of hops (piney and citrus notes), faint floral notes; some malts in there too. Taste is a nicely balanced combination of malt sweetness and hop bitterness. It is nice and drinkable but perhaps a bit watery.
