4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours pale orange with a large, sudsy off-white head. Smells like oranges and grapefruits. Taste is very bitter with some strong citrus, grapefruit and orange, notes. Light-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Left Coast Trestles IPA finishes with some mild lingering bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Serving: Bottle from State Line Liquors. Nice copper pour with plenty of carbonation. Off white head with pretty decent retention. Very citrusy nose. Nice malt to hop balance for an IPA. Light caramel notes but lots of citrus and lighter pine notes. Medium bodied and easy drinking. Solid brew.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice looking beer, orange and slightly hazy, great off-white, slightly orange head that didnít seem to want to go away, and left sticky lacing.
Aroma and taste were very pungently bitter hops, resiny, piney, pine resin, a healthy dose of citrus and citrus peel (lemon, grapefruit), some black pepper and a touch of earthiness. Thereís actually a fairly bold malt backbone, but itís at least partially masked by the plentiful hops, which are certainly the focus of this beer.
Body is medium and tangy with bitter hops, leaving a warmimg sensation after each sip that makes this one drink and feel more like a double IPA, and more like a higher ABV beer.
I would say if the goal of this beer was to blast the drinker with massive quantities of hops, then mission accomplished. Hop heads should certainly put this one on their list. Overall left coast did a good job on this beer (or is it a hops-beverage with a smidge of malts added?). I would certainly like to have this one again.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Piney and more pine nose.some tropical stuff. Taste is like this looks light and inviting but on your way out the door you get your nuts rolled in an origami porpoise.. Those hops are viable and delicious. I like what this beer have done with/to my mouth. more please.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance was hazy orangish gold with diminishing off white 1 finger head, slight spotty lacing. Aromas are caramel, toffee malts, then musky citrus piney hops, no alcohol. Taste are simple slight sweet base of malts, then of pine smash your tongue with grapefruit musk, lemon spicey and earthy leather hops, no alcohol. Palate are soft smooth CO2 with light-medium body, then lasting smooth earthy, piney finish. Just donít like the hop combo, but the malts is good.

Smells like burned plastic, malt extract syrup. Looks like beer. Tastes like a bitter homebrew clone of Firestone ESB. Watery and too bitter. Who is rating this so high?

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear, light colored orange/gold with about 1íí of head and excellent lacing. Aroma is mainly citrus with just a hint of caramel malt. Taste follows the nose and there is some nice sweetness in the background but the bitterness is the main attraction here but it does not linger long afterwards. Overall the beer is very clean, crisp and easy to drink. I preferred this to Left Coastís Hop Juice.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a light copper. Nose tells you right away that this ainít your typical West Coast IPA. Hop bitterness is present but the malt sweetness drives the boat here. Butterscotch in there turning me off a bit. Taste again feels malt over hops for me, not really what Iím looking for in this style. Slightly more bitterness comes through than the noise would have you believe. A well-made, enjoyable beer but not one Iíd pick up again.
