COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean, and pleasantly hoppy. With every sip this tasty IPA will take you back to your escape, such as local surf spot Trestles. Its strong copper color and clean finish on the palate are created by brewing with a 2-row malt and light imported crystal malt. We use CTZ and chinook hops and follow it up with the addition of dry hops of chinook and centennial in the fermenter bringing out a citrus aroma. Find your escape.

Lovely. Amber pour with a dense white head. Body is incredibly rich and creamy. Starts out sweetish with grapefruit and hay, nice malt backbone. Ends up very dry and moderately bitter.

Nice little drinker this one. Pours clean with a copper liquid gold colour. On the palate a nice citrusy style with a sweetness that makes the medicine go down.

Tallahassee, Fl. - on tap at Proof. Dark copper pour, light but sticjy off white head. Aroma has that patented cat piss aroma that is oddly appealing. Juicy, succulent flavor with solid grapefruit citrus bitterness, some apricot fruitiness, light maple syrup maltiness to balance it out. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it. Very solid IPA.

Bottle. Copper pour with cream colored head. Smells of hops and sweet malts. Tastes of the same with a slight bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from CBX. Deep golden pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma is very similar to their double IPA with the grapefruit and bready caramel malt vibe going on. Flavor as well, but more crisper and clean. Although CBX got these bottles in recently it seems like the hoppy stuff might be a little dated or it's just me.

Whole orange and lemon zest aroma, subtle grass and caramel. Hazy amber, thin head. Unmalted barley swiftly replaced with orange peel. Finishes with a more pronounced maltiness. Medium body. Milquetoast for an IPA, but good.

Bottle. Orange malt and grapefruit peel/pine aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet orange malt and very strong quinine, grapefruit peel and pine flavor. Intense hops but a bit rough.

(bottle - 22 oz) Golden pour with a thin white head. Earthy and mildly bitter aroma with some very light citrus. Incredibly bitter flavor at the start. Bitter and astringent without the citrus that I was hoping for. Lingering and cloying bitterness on the finish.

5/1/2014. 12 oz. bottle. Amber color with a white head. Hoppy aromas with pine, citrus and tropical fruit. Fresh and hoppy flavors, bitter finish. Awesome.

12oz bottle shared pours medium orange to copper color with fast moving white head. Aroma is lots of malt up front with a decent citrus hop aroma. The flavor is more malty than what I would prefer but it’s not offensive. Decent hop flavor with mild to medium bitterness. Overall pretty good but not great.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2014 Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Appearance: a thick, fluffy off-white head slowly falls with plenty of lacing remaining. Color is a hazy copper with some streaming carbonation. Aroma: tangerine, pine, floral, citrus rind, a bit of caramel and yeasty rolls. Mouthfeel: medium bodied, oily and sticky with a drying finish and some lingering alcohol burn. Flavor: echoes the aroma with the tangerine, pine and floral hops flavors melding with the sweet malt and just enough caramel to balance the tangy hops. Overall: excellent and well done to the style.
