COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"At left coast Brewing Co., we pride ourselves on our seasonal line up, with Una Mas amber being our one for the Spring. This dark copper lager(Ale in Texas) is light in body and bursting with flavor. Styled after the popular amber lagers south of the border, Una Mas is the perfect Spring brew. Small amounts of dark roasted malts add a rich color without making it thick or chewy. Munich malt adds a rich toasty finish to the brew. Una mas will leave you wanting more."

Amber pour with a white head. Sweet malt aroma of toast, bread, and biscuit. Fruity esters, some yeast, and light floral hop aroma. Maybe a bit of earth, too. Sweet flavor of bread, biscuit, and toast. Nice fruitiness of pear and apple, some floral hops, yeast, and a very light earthy bitterness.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, husks, caramel), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of concrete and detergent. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Quite industrial and grainy, which of course is accurate in terms of the beer it’s attempting to mimic, but why would you want to intentionally make a poorly-crafted beer?

Bomber bottle. The aroma is kinda funky. A little skunky with some sweet malt. The taste starts of sweet malt and ends a sweet dry. The palate is a dry film that is left on your tongue. Overall, an ok beer. Could be refreshing poolside. Way better stuff out there. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Malt forward in aroma - sweetness noted. A pretty copper with a non-lasting off-white head and no lacing. Taste is nutty, bready and an overriding sweetness. Strong flavor up front that, disapointingly, just disappears in the finish. Medium-light bodied with minimal carbonation. Overall, ok but as Vienna, I like Negra Modelo better.

Bottle. Pours deep amber/red with beige head. Aroma is a bit nutty, hints of hop citrus, toast. Flavor is much the same, also a bit rough, some earthinewss as well, a little tang. Medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. Overall, it’s not for me.

Bright dark amber color with fleeting ivory foam. Toasty, nutty malt aromas. medium body with average co2. Toasty, nutty, lagered caramel flavors with mild fuel alcohol--not bad.
