COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"At left coast Brewing Co., we pride ourselves on our seasonal line up, with Una Mas amber being our one for the Spring. This dark copper lager(Ale in Texas) is light in body and bursting with flavor. Styled after the popular amber lagers south of the border, Una Mas is the perfect Spring brew. Small amounts of dark roasted malts add a rich color without making it thick or chewy. Munich malt adds a rich toasty finish to the brew. Una mas will leave you wanting more."

Large sample at the Clay Oven, Irvine CA on 14th July 2014 during an Indian food and beer tasting evening. Amber body, almost clear, thin white head. Light malty nose with a sweet hint. The taste is also on the sweet side initially with mild caramel and tropical fruitiness, Hops do calm the brew down and give some bitterness mid-sip but the semi-sweetness arrives again in the finish. Pleasant without getting me excited.

This is a decent amber. Copper in color and good light malts. Easy to drink.

Average reddish pour w/ a very thin head that leaves little to no lacing. The aroma is of sweet caramel malt and the taste is right on point. Itís pretty well balanced and is easy to drink. Thereís nothing special going on here but there isnít much wrong w/ this beer for the style either!

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear dark amber red with a two finger head, aroma has some bread and sweet malt with a little bit of caramel, the flavor is sweet on the front end with some caramel in the finish, really one note and boring though, sad thing is the Point IPAs in the mix 6 pack I picked up were the winners, ugh.

Danish tasting session; old bottle
Hazy amber color with small head. Aroma of soil, malt, cereals, light chestnut honey. Old malt flavor, some oxidization, ordinary bitterness.
Definitively too old.

Bottle @ Yespr. Pours orange with a white minimal head. Aroma is sweet, phenols, mild bread, cardboard, herbs, mild caramel. Taste is light+ sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture thin, carbonation soft. Finishes mild sweet with caramel.

Crystal clear dark amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma is loaded with cereal and crusty bread, some nutty notes, floral, spicy hopsa nd a little minerality. Flavor is big on cereal up front, leading to planty hops, light nutty notes, bread, a little earthiness and spicy, grassy hops and lightly metallic mineral notes to the finish. Light body, just a touch oily and syrupy, on entry, medium, slightly sharp carbonation and off dry, but slightly more oily finish. Decent overall, but not really my cup oí tea. Also, itís a terrible value. I think I paid almost $10 for a 4-pack.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent light copper with off-white lacing. Smells of lager yeast and mild malt with a touch of toastiness. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. An easy drinker, but forgettable.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured clear, dark amber in color, small head and small soapy lacing. Aroma of roasted malts and herbs and maybe some straw. Taste is consistent, roasted malts, sweet caramel notes slight bitterness towards the end. OK beer.
