3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Enjoyed at the Pink Taco in Vegas. Pours a deep amber colour with a foamy warm cap, sloppy lacing and a nice coat tops the brew. Fruity malt nose (orange, plum) with caramel notes. Starts off with a rich malt and ends with a bitter finish. Mild dry mouthfeel. Quite a nice brewed amber ale overall.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a nice amber color with a small white head. The nose is lightly fruity. Odd for the style. Rather insipid on the palate with notes of malt extract and a fruitiness I associate with an ale. Slightly viscous mouthfeel. No, I don’t think I want any more of this one.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This lager is crisp and clean on the palate. It is deep golden and medium bodied. The malt taste dominates, and the hops shine through in more subtle ways, making this a flavorful lager.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
12 oz. HAs some cracker, caramel, toasted malt, and plenty of metal. Yep I think they succeeded in an already low-quality style, cause that was smart.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
At Epic Beer Fest 2013. Clear dark golden with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is faint but holds some sweet yet earthy caratoffee maltiness. Flavor is a bit earthier but still has that caramel and toffee tone from the nose. Somewhat toasty and bready. Overall a bit bland.

Pours copper brown, thick white head. Nose is German hops, caramel malt, some alcohol and earth. A little bitter on the taste, earthy, roasted nuts, and sweet syrupy finish.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Whispering Willows Liquor: Poured a dense amber hue color that had a thin layer of head which eventually retreated leaving the liquid bare and naked. As for the aroma, my nose is greeted by a mild scent of caramel or toffee fashioned malts that also has a faint background of floral hops. The flavor is much more subtle with only a minimum amount of caramel in the flavor and this just completely reminds me of the Dos Equis (XX) amber beer recipe. No bueno.
