COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"At left coast Brewing Co., we pride ourselves on our seasonal line up, with Una Mas amber being our one for the Spring. This dark copper lager(Ale in Texas) is light in body and bursting with flavor. Styled after the popular amber lagers south of the border, Una Mas is the perfect Spring brew. Small amounts of dark roasted malts add a rich color without making it thick or chewy. Munich malt adds a rich toasty finish to the brew. Una mas will leave you wanting more."

Ernest (7251) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 21, 2013
Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, husks, caramel), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of concrete and detergent. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Quite industrial and grainy, which of course is accurate in terms of the beer it’s attempting to mimic, but why would you want to intentionally make a poorly-crafted beer?

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Slightly sparkling medium copper pour, slight off white head that hangs around a while. Light brown sugar in the aroma, some molasses. Flavor is on the sweet side, some canned baked brown bread, some brown sugar, a touch of dates and molasses. Mouthfeel is thick enough,

At Epic Beer Fest 2013. Clear dark golden with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is faint but holds some sweet yet earthy caratoffee maltiness. Flavor is a bit earthier but still has that caramel and toffee tone from the nose. Somewhat toasty and bready. Overall a bit bland.

BlackHaddock (6119) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2014
Large sample at the Clay Oven, Irvine CA on 14th July 2014 during an Indian food and beer tasting evening. Amber body, almost clear, thin white head. Light malty nose with a sweet hint. The taste is also on the sweet side initially with mild caramel and tropical fruitiness, Hops do calm the brew down and give some bitterness mid-sip but the semi-sweetness arrives again in the finish. Pleasant without getting me excited.

Patrickctenchi (5873) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 30, 2013
Bottle: Pours clear, dark amber with a minimal, off-white head. Slightly toasty caramel malt aroma. Taste is caramel, with a soft fruitiness. Malty, a bit of nut...increasing as it warms. Not bad.

ben4321 (5571) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 28, 2014
Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 12/28/14

Aroma: The aroma is sweet and malty, caramel, some bread, spice, and a little orange
Appearance: This one pours a murky orange-brown color, with a small tan head and streaky lace
Flavor: Tastes rather sweet, with a light spice component that the sweetness dominates
Palate: The body is medium, it is fairly sticky on the mouth, with a lively carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this one was okay. It gets a bit too sticky, and lacks that balancing component to make it a better beer. It also feels a little too muddled. It is not bad, but it is not all that good either.
