"At left coast Brewing Co., we pride ourselves on our seasonal line up, with Una Mas amber being our one for the Spring. This dark copper lager(Ale in Texas) is light in body and bursting with flavor. Styled after the popular amber lagers south of the border, Una Mas is the perfect Spring brew. Small amounts of dark roasted malts add a rich color without making it thick or chewy. Munich malt adds a rich toasty finish to the brew. Una mas will leave you wanting more."

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark amber with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is caramel malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a chewy sweet malt, light yeast, hoppy bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel.

At Epic Beer Fest 2013. Clear dark golden with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is faint but holds some sweet yet earthy caratoffee maltiness. Flavor is a bit earthier but still has that caramel and toffee tone from the nose. Somewhat toasty and bready. Overall a bit bland.

Hmm...this is weird, has a bit of Jolly Rancher sugar in the aroma. Way too sweet, sticky sugars. flavor also has that Strawberry Jolly Rancher character. Quite disappointed.

ChainGangGuy (4474) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - FEB 8, 2015
12 ounce bottle - $2.29 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a crystal clear, toasted brown body with a small-sized, wispy, near white head.

Smell: Toasted malts with an instantaneous, distinct husky scent that grabs you, though not in a good way. A little wisp of herbal hops, though, there’s little to the aroma beyond the huskiness.

Taste: Bready, lightly toasty malts with a noticed husky quality to it. Lightly sweet, with a low touch of caramel. Modestly fruity. Herb tinged hoppiness, also low, with little bitterness present. Encroaching wearying wateriness as you proceed to the empty finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation.

Overall: A lacking, humdrum lager. No Mas.

Bottle: Pours clear, dark amber with a minimal, off-white head. Slightly toasty caramel malt aroma. Taste is caramel, with a soft fruitiness. Malty, a bit of nut...increasing as it warms. Not bad.

Large sample at the Clay Oven, Irvine CA on 14th July 2014 during an Indian food and beer tasting evening. Amber body, almost clear, thin white head. Light malty nose with a sweet hint. The taste is also on the sweet side initially with mild caramel and tropical fruitiness, Hops do calm the brew down and give some bitterness mid-sip but the semi-sweetness arrives again in the finish. Pleasant without getting me excited.

Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 12/28/14

Aroma: The aroma is sweet and malty, caramel, some bread, spice, and a little orange
Appearance: This one pours a murky orange-brown color, with a small tan head and streaky lace
Flavor: Tastes rather sweet, with a light spice component that the sweetness dominates
Palate: The body is medium, it is fairly sticky on the mouth, with a lively carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this one was okay. It gets a bit too sticky, and lacks that balancing component to make it a better beer. It also feels a little too muddled. It is not bad, but it is not all that good either.
