COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"At left coast Brewing Co., we pride ourselves on our seasonal line up, with Una Mas amber being our one for the Spring. This dark copper lager(Ale in Texas) is light in body and bursting with flavor. Styled after the popular amber lagers south of the border, Una Mas is the perfect Spring brew. Small amounts of dark roasted malts add a rich color without making it thick or chewy. Munich malt adds a rich toasty finish to the brew. Una mas will leave you wanting more."

Bomber from Baron’s Market RB: Rich copper color with a medium fading off-white head. Aroma is fruity and grainy. Flavor starts fruity-candy sweet with a touch of cinnamon followed by a peppery bite and a long dry finish. Medium body is rich with lively carbonation.

marcus (4065) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 16, 2012
Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours reddish copper with a thick beige head and a toasty aroma. There is a medium-bodied caramel malt flavor with a dry slightly bitter finish.

bhensonb (7598) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 8, 2012
Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy dark copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma of sweet caramel with a hint of chocolate. Near med body. Flavor is sort of a toffee/chocolate combo. Treacle aspect. It does suggest a toffee hard candy. Finishes pretty sweet. I’m not thinking this would be wildly popular amongst DIPA freaks.

Clear reddish amber with a small off white head that fades quickly. Aroma of raisins, caramel, toffee and toast. Taste is pretty sweet and a touch bitter; sweet fruit and malt dominate. A touch cloying. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and a short, slightly bitter finish.

Barreras (411) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - NOV 29, 2011
Pours a deep brown with a little lighter brown at the top. Aroma is mildly sweet with caramel and hops dominating the nose. Taste is very clean and refreshing. Slight citrus flavor but overall roasted nuts and caramel stand out. A good amber lager.

Apple skin and fresh, wet grain aroma. Amber color with fine, slick lacing. Mild hop in the front, slightly roasted cereal grain back.

It’s a bubbly and clear, rich amber pour with tan foam with just a bit of retention. I can only smell a little caramel, little citrus. Maybe it’s my allergies or maybe there’s just really not much going on. The flavor is nice though; biscuity, breadcrusty and slightly crisp. Palate is fairly thin, but then again, this isn’t really a November beer. It finishes bready, if I could say that. I could quaff on a hot day for sure.

Hmm...this is weird, has a bit of Jolly Rancher sugar in the aroma. Way too sweet, sticky sugars. flavor also has that Strawberry Jolly Rancher character. Quite disappointed.

Pretty dark and with a beige head. Rich malty, nutty nose. Strong aroma, fragrant on the pour. Deep malty and nutty flavor. A rich amber beer. No doubt good if you like the style. I don’t want unable mas though. Dos mas of a different beer would suit me better.

Good malty aroma... some toffee and toast. Pours a crystal clear copper amber with a touch of ruby and a soapy head. Really nice looking in the glass, like a beer commercial. Strong toasty malt and some sweet malt mixed in. OK flavor. Overall, a pretty decent brew. I like the name "Una Mas". I would definitely drink mas...
