COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"At left coast Brewing Co., we pride ourselves on our seasonal line up, with Una Mas amber being our one for the Spring. This dark copper lager(Ale in Texas) is light in body and bursting with flavor. Styled after the popular amber lagers south of the border, Una Mas is the perfect Spring brew. Small amounts of dark roasted malts add a rich color without making it thick or chewy. Munich malt adds a rich toasty finish to the brew. Una mas will leave you wanting more."

Bright dark amber color with fleeting ivory foam. Toasty, nutty malt aromas. medium body with average co2. Toasty, nutty, lagered caramel flavors with mild fuel alcohol--not bad.

scottsdale 9/23/07. light amber color with a little white head. aroma is light malt sweetness. light bodied and clean. flavor is mildly sweet and a little fruity with a small hop bitterness on the finish. nothing unique but they go down quick in the desert heat....

Bottle. Pours with a clear orange to amber body with a small and not very retentive off-white head. Slowly fades to a ring. Some lacing. Aromas of malty first, nutty (maybe even husky), bready, lightly toasted. Hazelnuts, a hint of salinity. Pretzels. Minimal hop notes. A hint of esters which seems out of place. Flavors are nutty, biscuity, and again a hint of salinity. Medium bitterness that rounds to an overall neutral balance. Hop flavors are very minimal. No esters on the flavor. Some crispness and a short duration. Medium to lively bubbles, a bit high in alcohol for what I am use to from a Vienna. Seems like the water is pretty high in bicarbonate (getting some bite on the sides of the tongue). Decently dry finish. No real flaws. Decent.

~Pours an amber color with small lasting head. ~Light malty aroma with some spicy hops. Smells crisp. ~Toasty malty flavor followed by a light bitterness. ~Light feel, dry, bitter finish ~Easy to drink would be refreshing on a hot day. The bitter taste is a bit strange. I dont think I will be saying "una mas" after this one. Not bad though.

Pours a deep brown with a little lighter brown at the top. Aroma is mildly sweet with caramel and hops dominating the nose. Taste is very clean and refreshing. Slight citrus flavor but overall roasted nuts and caramel stand out. A good amber lager.

Beerenberger (824) - Fischer, Texas, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Malt forward in aroma - sweetness noted. A pretty copper with a non-lasting off-white head and no lacing. Taste is nutty, bready and an overriding sweetness. Strong flavor up front that, disapointingly, just disappears in the finish. Medium-light bodied with minimal carbonation. Overall, ok but as Vienna, I like Negra Modelo better.

Pretty dark and with a beige head. Rich malty, nutty nose. Strong aroma, fragrant on the pour. Deep malty and nutty flavor. A rich amber beer. No doubt good if you like the style. I don’t want unable mas though. Dos mas of a different beer would suit me better.

Tap @ Scottsdale Oggi’s location. Aroma was weak with some spice and a metalic aroma. Amber body with off white head. Sweet sticky cinnamon spicey candy flavor. But at time during drinking the pint of beer it was somewhat watery. A sweet spicey aftertaste was lingering. Not bad little unusual.
