"At left coast Brewing Co., we pride ourselves on our seasonal line up, with Una Mas amber being our one for the Spring. This dark copper lager(Ale in Texas) is light in body and bursting with flavor. Styled after the popular amber lagers south of the border, Una Mas is the perfect Spring brew. Small amounts of dark roasted malts add a rich color without making it thick or chewy. Munich malt adds a rich toasty finish to the brew. Una mas will leave you wanting more."

It’s a style I rather enjoy, this one. It appears as the way I imagine it will smell somehow. Coppery russet in colour, but clear and carrying the remnants of some ugly grey head. It smells of gorgeous caramel malts and bready yeastiness and tastes similar. It is sweet but not cloying and very drinkable.

Average reddish pour w/ a very thin head that leaves little to no lacing. The aroma is of sweet caramel malt and the taste is right on point. It’s pretty well balanced and is easy to drink. There’s nothing special going on here but there isn’t much wrong w/ this beer for the style either!

Bottle from Champanes, this beer had a clear amber-brown pour and gave a white and faint off-white half finger of bubbles that receded to a unbalanced ring and a bunch of small islands, it left some spots and small fingers of lacing, the nose had aromas of munich malt, melanoidin, malt sweetness and some caramel like notes, very faint chocolate like hints in the background, the flavors were malty, melanoidins, faint chocolate, and malt sweetness, the finish had a pretty light bitterness with malt and malt sweetness trailing, the mouth feel was light and had average carbonation, a ok Vienna beer.
