Fudge chocolate, coffee and tobacco aroma. Black brown color with thin white head, Very chocolate start with mellowed out vanilla aftertaste. Has some hazelnut in it maybe.

Black pour with a 1 finger, soapy to creamy tan head that has good retention. Aroma is full of roast and nutty notes, some chocolate, dark coffee, burnt sugar, licorice and light, but sharp dark fruit notes. Flavor is slightly sweet caramel and chocolate up front, reminds me of a Riesenís candy, actually, then a little char, nutty notes, coffee, a little toffee, light leather and mineral notes and some light fruity and pine notes to the finish. Medium body with a creamy feel throughout and a light to moderate carbonation with a fairly soft feel. Very good stuff overall, the flavor profile is dead on, I could drink a ton of this stuff, unfortunately the price and alcohol content means I wonít.

Bottle from Total Wine Summerlin, Las Vegas. Black pour, creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, licorice, quite roasted, some dark fruits and a hint of bready yeast. Flavor is roasted bitter, slightly sweet, creamy and full bodied. Very nice.

Bomber poured into Finnish pub mug. Pours darkest caramel brown almost black. Khaki head disappears fast and leaves no lacing. Aroma is classic imp stout with big roast, malt and coffee. Flavor is a lot of char, roasted malt, coffee, hint of chocolate. Oily mouthfeel with a long, malty char finish. Great palate of expected stout flavors, well balanced, easy to drink. Good beer.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with fine, creamy light brown head. Essentially no lacing. Aroma is heavy roast, burnt, dark chocolate, coffee, alcohol. Flavor is heavily roasted, coffee, smoky, with a strong chocolate finish and roasted aftertaste. Very rich and chocolatey, coffee as it warms. Soft to medium carbonation, medium body. A very good stout, rich and roasted.

Dense, oily pour; thick small brown head. Malty aroma, cocoa and coffee. Flavors much the same. Deep, layered flavors and textures. Wonderful.

Bitter coffee nose. Starts malty with a pretty sharp bitterness...seems like a fairly high IBU stout. Finishes with a dry roasted malt flavor with a coffee aftertaste.

Murky black with a slight ruby. The head was thin and tan. The aroma is alcoholic, brown spirits, with rich fruit cake notes, coffee, chocolate and fruity hop characters. Burnt brown sugar, coffee grinds and dark cooking chocolate bitterness, your usual stout characteristics. Nice smooth beer, good alcohol warmth, a good bitterness and maybe resin from the hops. The finish is a little grainy, but good toasty bitterness, but a nice thickness to leave a slick in the mouth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours very dark brown with tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is roasted coffee, chocolate - remaining somehow bright and refreshing. Taste is coffee, vanilla, a little citrus and spice - less chocolate than the aroma. Palate is very smooth, medium bodied, and dry in the finish. Aftertaste stays dry with a mild coffee and cocoa powder bitterness. Very enjoyable, easy drinking stout with no indication that itís 8.5% ABV.

651mL thanks to DedicatedToFun. Clear cola pour. Weak foam. Dense sweeter chocolate nose. Rich chocolate creme brulee with mild hops. Nice. Taste is bizarre- bland, plasticy, loads of stale tootsie roll. Sticky feeling but the mouthfeel with watery. Just not pleasant.
