Black with a decent tan head.
Nose is light roast, chocolate, trace of spice, dark malt interplay.
Taste comprises mellow dark fruit vibes, chocolate, biscuit, spice, toffee fudge.
Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Easy drinking impy but somewhat pedestrian and lacking authority.

Bottle share at Cotteridge Wines, as ’Left Coast Voo Doo American Stout’, 8%, thanks to The Don. Black with a small foamy brown head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate syrup. Body is smooth, tingly carbonation. Taste is coffee, metallic with a salty dry finish. Pretty nice.

Bottle at CWC II; dark opaque brown pour with a creamy tan head, aroma has rich roast and some dark berries, taste has a hint of coffee, dark fruits, roasted malts, slick mouthfeel.

Tried at Cotteridge 2. Almost black colour with a tan head. Aroma has chocolate. And liquorice. Taste mid sweet very drinkable. Didn’t taste like8.5%.
