3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Monte Carlo Pub (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a black body with maroon glints and a thin beige creamy head. Complex malty/hoppy aroma with chocolate, roasted coffee, and plummy hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Its smooth malty taste carries woody, plummy, and chocolate notes. Ends with a long, robust bittersweet finish. Very nice.

Black with a decent tan head.
Nose is light roast, chocolate, trace of spice, dark malt interplay.

Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Easy drinking impy but somewhat pedestrian and lacking authority.
