Beautiful opaque pour w/ a mocha head that leaves very good lacing. The aroma has a roasty undertone w/ touch of chocolate. The taste is chocolate upfront & then hits you w/ some roasted bitterness in the finish all while having a milky smooth mouthfeel! Tasty, fairly complex, & goes down easy! Nicely done!

Deep brown, practically black in color with a light brown head. It looks niceÖ kudos on that. It smells lightly sweet with a touch of herbal hops and black patent malts or, although lightly dosed, just maybe some heavily roasted malts. In the mouth itís a little bitter from the roasted malts and dry enough to prevent residual sugars from masking that bitterness. Still, though, itís soft, smooth, and easy to drink. The roasted malts, although very bitter, are gentle and easy to stomach. Nice.

Coffee aromas. Notes of bittersweet chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, kinda sweet. Medium body. Some milky/lactic notes as well.

Heavy roasted barley, dry chocolate, coffee, and caramel on the nose. Just about black with a mostly fading beige head. Very dry, with flavors of earthy unmalted barley and char, very bitter. Medium-full bodied, chewy, and finishes with lingering roast and bitterness. A solid stout, chock full of roasted malts and balancing bitterness, seemingly Russian-styled for a proclaimed American stout, but damn tasty all the same.

Frothy pour, dark which left fairly nice lacing. Soapy roasted aroma. I worked through my sixpack of this and really didnít "feel it" until about the fourth one. Iím not sure what my problem was. This is pretty good. Really roasty, yet milky as well. Just a touch of lactic flavor, but not offputting. Chocolatey and sweet, but not cloying. Really smooth mouthfeel, coating on the tongue. I liked it.

From 12 oz bottle. Pours dark with a big of caramel head. Coffee in the aroma, with the coffee dominating the malt and chocolate. Not a bad stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured dark, deep brown with a nice, generous off white head that left a lot of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts and chocolate. Taste of smoke, roasted malts, sweet chocolate. Very nice executed, super enjoyable stout.

Almost black, thick foamy cappuccino head, copious lacing. Nose is dark chocolate and fudge; coffee notes. Taste is well-balanced. Quite sweet, but a nice hop bite. Full body, soft carbonation. Quite good brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
