Pretty nice stout. Dark with a roasted barley and coffee taste...I couldn’t find the chocolate flavor others referred to. I really like it but it but it leaves kind of a bitter aftertaste. Probably I am rating this higher than I should. I have a couple more left and may give a second opinion later.

35.5cl bottle, served in Shaker.Pours black with beige head. The aroma is a strange blend of roasted malts, some candy and smoke. Taste is quite smoky along with coffee notes, it is curious that seems even more smoky than most smoked beers. Very little sweetness on the aftertaste with significant bitterness. Full body, good carbonation. Nice beer, smoked beer fans would really enjoy this one.

Poors dark, with thin lacing on the glass. Not much aroma. And a little thin tasting, for my palate at least.

Bottle. Oily brown black with red highlights and a bit of camel colored head. Aroma is rich and roasty with smooth tones and coffee. Taste is more coffee and cocoa than anything else, and there’s a small hop bite to it as well. The alcohol is hidden well.

Bottle share from Ron. Thanks Ron! Appearance is dark, clear, orange highlights, thin head. Coffee and chocolate nose and similar taste. Nice gritty palate, decent body. Hangs together well very drinkable.

A little light, as stouts go, but pretty good. It pours very deep brown with average head. The aroma is coffee and plenty of hops. I’ve noticed that "American" on a beer label just means that it’s hopped all to hell. I’m fine with that. This thing still has some malt character in the flavor, though, and some chocolate. It’s a decent little beer.
