COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At Left Coast Brewing Co. we pride ourselves on a unique batch of beer in the style of an American Stout. Voo Doo is a full bodied, dark brew that is rich and malty with plenty of roasted barley character. This hearty stout is layered with flavors of roasted barley, chocolate, and coffee coming from the highest quality imported malts. Its creamy long lasting head completes the brew, tempting your taste buds to be spellbound.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a red shine head under a thick brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, wood, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol, and a bit of wood, leading to a dry, alcohol, and roasted finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a very dark brown with an orange hue and a creamy and lacing beige head. Sweet roast with a whiff of smoke. Medium body, sweet roast, licorice and again a smoky note. Dry and woody, roasty finish. Solid indeed. 250711

Bottle at home. Pitch black coloured with a small beige head. Sweet and roasted aroma of caramel, roasted bread and dark chocolate with notes of liquorice. and tovacco. Sweet and roasted flavour of caramel, roasted bread and liquorice with notes of dark chocolate and hops. Roasted finish.

Bottle at CP&K. Opaque dark brown beer. Decent tan head. Smooth semi dry palate. Good dark malt, rich but not bitter. Dark chocolate with a sprinkle of minerals. Trace of raspberry and red fruits and a whisper of smoke. Smooth semi dry finish.

Black color, small head. The aroma is a bit too mild, some roasted malts, then chocolate and a trace of tobacco. Very good chocolate flavor, lean body, smooth mouthfeel. Strong bitterness, but not excessive.
Excellent, balanced, quite elegant too.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Very dark brown. Thin head. Rich molassesy burnt aroma. Soft body and smooth dark malts. Moderate hoppiness. Creamy finish is rich and dessert-like. Good stout, enjoyable.
