Full of sticky resinous hops, our American style IPA was inspired by the pitcher’s rosin bag. This brew is double-dry-hopped with Citra, Cascade, Amarillo and Centennial, giving it a whack of zesty tangerine and bright orange aromas. Catch the taste of tropical fruits with a moderately bitter dry finish.

Victoria Day purchase at brewery bottle shop -- only 12 minute walk from my pad -- brings home this bottle. Hits the glass a sharp reddish brown with a small cap that disappears quicker than my attention span at a baseball game. A very middle of the road IPA: somewhat bitter, nothing more than a hint of tropical or citrus. Says on the label that it was bottled on April 10th & that just seems a little behind the times (uh oh, are on site sales sluggish?). The reviews here are either too high or too low & in true ratebeer fashion the truth lies somewhere in the middle. What makes it standout from the crowd is the almost rye-IPA style. If I were to consult on this brew my advice would be to slap the brewers hand when he reaches for the hops in a vain effort to get him to add more hops to the mix. Will buy again.

On tap at barhop, Toronto. Pours gold with a white head. Lovely big trop fruit aroma mango and passion fruit. Medium body, medium carbonation. Big bitterness alongside juicy fruitiness - orange, mango, lemon. There's pine and caramel too and a big resinous bitter finish. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

May 14, 2014. Beer Mavens dinner at beerbistro. Very hoppy nose, smell a hint of sharp white cheddar? Orangey yellow colour, transparent. Whitish head. Very hoppy flavour. Trace of malt. Nice lacing. Citrus and pine aromas and flavours. I find it lacks depth.

On tap at Bar Hop. This one is better than it’s rated here. It’s clearly an IPA in aroma, taste, and finish. But there is a nice spiciness to it that differentiates it from the crowd. Almost like a rye-PA. Definitely above average, this one deserves to be more widely available.

On tap at Bar Volo, pours a fairly clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous and piney hops, and just enough biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, bringing out quite a potent resinous hop profile, along with piney hops, and biscuity malt. Really well-balanced and really hoppy. Excellent beer.

[5336-20130504] Cask. Caramelly toasted grains aroma. Slightly hazy, brown orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Bitter herbal citrus flavour has a toasted caramel background. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7/3/15) 3.5

On tap at the brewery open house. Pours a clear copper/amber colour with modest-sized off-white head. Aroma is grainy malt with some caramel sweetness and leafy, citric hops. Flavour is lightly toasty grains, caramel, fruit and a fairly punchy green, citrusy hoppiness. Quite bitter in the finish. Solid IPA.

On Tap at Bar Hop. Hazy orange pour, big eggshell head. Thick, sticky lacing on the glass......a good sign. The aroma is a huge dose of grapefruit, and some subtle pine. The mouth feel is bang on, and the carb is great. The Finish is a punch to you palette of huge hops. High bitterness in the end, with a great grapefruit finish. loved it.

On tap at the Wren on Danforth. NIce aroma, hint of cirtus. Mid-bodied palate, created a nice mouth-feel. Bitterness builds, and left a slightly disagreeable aftertaste. I also would classify as "meh."
