3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
nice and powerful malted barley beer gives an almost harsh component to the hops that are powerful enough to compete. yeasty wheat adds just a touch to the mouthfeel and a deep caramel British style ale component leaves this a satisfying brew indeed! tastes dark and really isn’t. nice ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange. The aroma is spicy hops and raisins. The flavor is grassy and spicy hops with some caramel beneath it. Assertive bitterness in the finish. Decent for what it is.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml Bottle from De Bierkoning. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of slightly stale hops, a little fruity, light metallic, a bit of caramel. Flavour is light sweet, light fruity, light malty, piney bitterness underneath, caramel, hoppy and slightly metallic bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Refreshing, easy drinking, but not outstanding.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange-golden with a fizzy white head and clear for an IPA. Aroma is of muted flowers, light fruit, and minimal hops. Taste is crisp, slightly flowery, and dry with a bit of bitter semi-sweet chocolate in the finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Name doesn’t fit but this one isn’t bad as a more English style IPA. Bottle pours a hazy golden body with a small offwhite head that leaves attractive patchy lacing. Aroma is citrusy hops that are more apricot and lemon than grapefruit. Taste follows suit with the addition of grassy hop bitterness and a biscuity malt presence that has some caramel sweetness. Alcohol is well hidden. Very approachable.

A Mes rate. Draught at the White Horse.
I quite like this although I’m sure it’s not most peoples cup of tea. Clean mid gold colour with a thin but lasting white head. Incredibly cheesy aroma. It really is just full on cheese but I like it. Almost Stilton funk. Some feet in there too along with some poo and barnyard, the whole lot. I’ve never experienced such cheesy malt. Madness. The flavour is not quite so good. No cheese, just a fairly standard blonde with not much character. Faint earthy note in the finish is reallypleasant though. Pretty standard stuff to be honest, I just really like the cheese malt aroma.

OK head and lace, retention too. Clear gold/light copper in color. Nose is grassy, lightly fruity and grainy. Thin bodied, pushy carbonation. Light grassy flavors, some cardboard, spicey, lightly floral. Fairly dry, light bitter finish. Intro IPA. Thanks Robert!
