I like this beer. In the era of overhopped American IPAs, this is a little different. A great balance of hops and malts so you could actually drink it all day long. Good stuff.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Where’s the "India" in this India pale ale? No significant hop character or aroma. Unremarkable even considered as a pale ale.

12oz. bottle served in a shaker pint. Poured a clear gold with a finger of white head. Restrained hop aroma with some caramel malt. Definitely more on the malty side. Light to medium bodied. More caramel malt. Hops are pretty subtle but show up with some drying in the finish. The first bottle of the six I drank almost seemed infected, but the others were better. Didn’t seem that English to me. I expect more of a soft fruitiness from the yeast.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours clear gold with frothy off white head. The aroma is mild with a vitamin pill quality followed by spicy and pine hops. The taste is sweet with malts moving toward earthiness, spicy hops and then ending with sort of a water mouth feel.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden pour. Earthy and sweet aroma. Slight bitter, earthy hop flavor. Bready, biscuity, a little sweet. All right, but not among my favorite IPAs. Certainly drinkable, but the bready/sweet character isn’t working for me.

Gold color with a large head. Dusty hop aroma. Earthy and grainy flavor. Fairly dry and a little more than moderate bitterness. Simple, but solid.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
gold pour with a decent white head.
Aroma is slightly grainy/grassy. some biscuity malt. light herbal hop.
flavour is earthy, slightly yeasty. Pretty good balance between hop/malt.
Bready-biscuity malt and an herbal hop that leaves a bit of a vegetative bitterness in the finish.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. Crystal clear, orange-tinted gold with a lasting eighth-inch of creamy foam. Faint nose of fresh orange, sweet earth and resin. Tastes of earthy caramel, tea leaf, and orange on front. Nice finish of resiny pine, bitterish green herb, oak, and lightly peppery citrus zest. Light-medium body is smoothly carbonated (but a bit more than English style), barely watery so as to be a good session ale, and very well-balanced. Wow, the 7% is well hidden and this is a dangerously drinkable brew. This one is right on the mark for a great traditional IPA.
