3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
To me, English IPAs focus a bit more on balance of malt and hops and aren’t simply out to destroy your palate. Spicy hops lead the way but there’s a distinct wheat breadiness. Also some of the hard water flavor found in a lot of English ales. Very unique mixture of hops including Magnum, Boadicea and Sovereign.
More punch than a Pale Ale, not as much as most IPAs. Respectable 6.8% ABV that adds just a touch of warmth.
It’s definitely good, but maybe a step below their porters, stouts, and the Good Juju.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Been a while since having this, must have forgot to rate. Pours a clear peachy gold.Light head, some lace. Potent musty herbal hop with musty earthy mineral .FAirly strong herbal aroma-rated higher for its real-time value than really enjoying it emmensly. Caramel malts possibly under some toasty/roast malt tones. Smooth with bite with same aroma flavors. Toasty malt, herbal, spice herbal bitter finish.Smooth somewhat creamy with dry toasted malts, and some bittersweetness. Nice, different and pretty unique for ipa. English style is usually a mild ipa, not this. Very enjoyable beer all around, allways liked this one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber yellow with thin white head with moderate lacing with a citrus aroma. Nice and hoppy, with the British hops being much more subtle than what is typically found in American IPA's. Nice and drinkable.

Wow this is crazy hoppy. Lots of citrus pith and quinine. Slightest touch of cocoa bitters as well. Ok.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Funny I should taste this on after a Gubna. This one is even MORE bitter. You know when is everyone going to get over their obsession with IPAs? Gold. Aroma like an IPA. Taste bitter.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Amberg golden color Good Head. Taste is very fruity of maracuja. Taste is also very fruity, but bitterness is not very balanced and a little bit disturbant.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Caramel and malty IPA. Golden pour. Earthy and sweet upfront. More malty taste, somewhat metallic and molasses tasting. Pretty light bit terming at end. Okay.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2014 Bottle. Pours crystal clear golden with very little head. Mild aroma of grass and a little caramel. Taste is mostly pine. Surprisingly long lasting bitter aftertaste.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear yellow body, thin white head. Aroma is very typical for the style, hops, grass, and some fruity notes. There’s very little carbonation so the mouthfeel is a bit watery. Taste is missing the IPA bitterness and kick. There’s not much in the taste at first but in the end you get this weird after taste that lingers in your mouth. I can’t quite figure it out but I don’t find it particularly pleasant. I think this beer is a complete miss for me. Can’t recommend and most definitely won’t be purchasing again.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Eh this was okay. Nothing really notable at all. Hardly any distinguishable hop characteristics and an overpowering malt presence. I understand it’s an "english style" but it’s kind of weird and sweet and gross. Really surprised by this one I was expecting a lot better.
