3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A lot more subtle than I remember it being. Nice maltiness to go with the hops. After this point I have to write 5 more characters to finish the review.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Caramel and malty IPA. Golden pour. Earthy and sweet upfront. More malty taste, somewhat metallic and molasses tasting. Pretty light bit terming at end. Okay.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours crystal clear golden with very little head. Mild aroma of grass and a little caramel. Taste is mostly pine. Surprisingly long lasting bitter aftertaste.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear yellow body, thin white head. Aroma is very typical for the style, hops, grass, and some fruity notes. There’s very little carbonation so the mouthfeel is a bit watery. Taste is missing the IPA bitterness and kick. There’s not much in the taste at first but in the end you get this weird after taste that lingers in your mouth. I can’t quite figure it out but I don’t find it particularly pleasant. I think this beer is a complete miss for me. Can’t recommend and most definitely won’t be purchasing again.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Eh this was okay. Nothing really notable at all. Hardly any distinguishable hop characteristics and an overpowering malt presence. I understand it’s an "english style" but it’s kind of weird and sweet and gross. Really surprised by this one I was expecting a lot better.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Khyber Pass. Clear dark gold pour. Frothy off-white head. Bready with medium caramel flavors. Pecans. Overripe bananas. Dulce de leche. Toast with dark honey marmalade. Light toffee. Hops add a bit of spice in the finish. Cannot help feel some eucalyptus is in the mix. Bit unusual. Worth having.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a bottle. Pours golden with a medium white head. Aroma has hints of bread with little to no hops coming through. Taste is initially bitter but there is solid malt underpinning. Good, dry finish but then a bit of sweetness creeps in again. Good mouth feel throughout with a reasonably complex flavor. Nothing overwhelming, but quite solid.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
One of the great american English-style IPA’s. My favorite type of beer which is similar to a brown ale with a little hop flavor.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Good brewsky with nice aroma of honey and carmel. There is some small hopy taste, bitternes but way back. For Left Hand I would say its not all that fantastic.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
From bottle. Pours a murky gold with hardly any head. Malty, slightly metallic nose. A little thin, but nice carbonation. Earthy and herbal as advertised. Nice bitter finish. Not the hop bomb that we’ve come to expect from most IPAs, but the English style is a refreshing take. The whole is definitely better than the parts in this one. I have noticed this beer tends to be a bit delicate and turns when it gets old. Pay attention to the "best by" date on the bottle. When it’s fresh, it’s terrific.
