Nice slightly hazy orange body with a thick, clinging white head. The aroma is more sweet than hoppy, so I would think it lack some of the characteristics of an IPA. However, it is still quite inviting. Smooth, easy to drink beer. Like the aroma, the flavor is more sweet than I would expect. So, aside from it not being very IPA-ish, this beer is very tasty. Sweet entry...bread and caramel. Leads to a moderately bitter finish with some of those elusive IPA characteristcs coming through. The somewhat high ABV is not noticeable at all. Good beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazed golden color with a smallish, but stable off-white head. Light citrus and yeast aromas. Hints of sweet wheat and malt. Fairly dry from the start. Mild grapefruit zest hops lead the way and charge to the finish. Some spiciness, but not a clean, clear zip, but a mix of old spices. Some woody malt in the linger. I done know if this one survived the voyage. 6/10

Nice mouthfeel because bottle carbonated. Head dissolved fast. Great hop aroma. Bread like malt with caramel have the malt of and English style, then gives way to strong citrus hops. Lemon, grapefruit, a touch orange, grass, a touch pungent finish. A bit sticky but with lighter body. English style up front but finishes bitter and a touch acidic and spicy to me.

Bright green nose when pouring then disappears. Darker yellow pour. Bitter and dull, toasted malts with the hoppy bitterness

Bottle from Shaw’s, best by 4/2/16. Pours a hazy yellow with minimal head and some light lacing. Citrus aroma, lots of malt, balanced nicely with a medium hop finish. Pretty easy drinking for an IPA, more malt than hops.

Slight aroma. Clear golden color with little foam with white lacing on the glass. Good beer for trying it out. But not so exciting or flavorful to be a personal favorite. A little bittery aftertaste.

Pours a clear amber with a medium, beige head; moderate lacing. Aroma is a fruity hop, bready malt blend. Taste is moderate to high bitter with a hint of sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium with a bit of oilyness; light bitter finish. Overall, an interesting beer, worth the try but nothing too exciting.

Mettons.
