Draft at Brewvival 2012. Pours a clear dark reddish amber with a medium frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, coffee. The taste is caramel, roasted malts, berries, nuts, anise, herbal notes and vanilla. Medium bodied. Nice.

Solid, although too boozy and simple to be very good. Notes of cocoa but mostly dominated by oak/booze/whiskey. Moderate carbonation, a weird mouthfeel. One of the best beers Iíve had from them.

On draught at OíNiellís Left Hand Beer Dinner. Opaque dark brown color with slight tan head Big chocolate aroma. Medium body, avedage mouthfeel. Begins with chocolate flavors, even dry/sweet character. Oaky flavor grows into finish. Vreat complementary flavors. Slightly dry finish. Not as full a mouthfeel as the Nitro Milk Stout. Late slight al ohol warminv, but not as much as Wake Up Dead Russian Imperial Stout. Nice
