Avery Sour Ale Fest. Palate may have been wrecked by this point in the tasting, but this tastes like an infected brown ale submitted as a sour ale. Thin-bodied and very sweet, with a bland, stale aftertaste. Ugh.

heavily cloudy dull brown appearance. cinnamon, nutmeg, red apple skin nose. mildly acetic, moderately prickly acidity, somewhat dirty, gritty and earthy finish, but with flabby texture and body.

Draught at Sour Fest. Cloudy brown with thin white head. Aroma is subdued and has light caramel, light funk and some basement smells. Taste is mild with many of the same notes from aroma. Crisp and refreshing on palate. Not all that impressive, but pleasant and easy
