3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz. bottle. Pours a dark brown with a very small tan head. Quite light in color for a porter. Aroma is chocolate and dark roasted malt. Sweet chocolate malt flavor with some hop bitterness on the finish. Somewhat metallic aftertaste.

i thought that this beer was overly sweet, i didn’t expect a lot, but was still a little disapointed.....not a beer to seek out.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light brown with a deep red pantina. Thin film of light tan head. Chocolate aroma with mild coffee. High residual sweetness with bittersweet chocolate and tinges of floral hops, particularly in the finish where they meet a richer chocolate vestige. Mouthfeel is medium light.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours dark brown with a dissipating head. Typical porter aroma, focused on chocolate malt. The flavor is bitter chocolate malts and almonds, especially in the finish. My only complaint is that it could be more full-bodied, but certainly still a decent beer.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
My first and sustaining thought with this beer is that it smells like molasses and barleywines. Excellent. It tastes much more more like a barleywine than a porter to me too - but that’s certainly okay in my book. It would be truly great if it made the commitment and went all the way.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle. This is a deep, deep dark red with a fast fading tan head. The aroma is a typical porter: roasted coffee, dark chocolate. Good flavor, there’s some tasty nuttiness and a good sweet finish.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Courtesy of Indiana_Red via trade. Lots of chocolate in the aroma with some caramel, roasted grain, and light nuttiness. Pours a reddish-brown with a decent amount of transparency when held to the light. Small off-white head fades quickly. Very malty. Lots of chocolate from start to finish. Light roasted grain and nuts in the finish with the hops extremely light. Somewhat creamy mouthfeel, but a tad fizzy.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle Clear and very light color for the style. Looked more like a brown ale. Small off white head and only spotty lacing. Dark roast aromsa and a slightly sour hint. Thin feel but smooth and plenty of woody roasted flavors. Aftertaste was of old campfires.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. Poured dark like coffee, had a good off white head, that eventually left good lacing. Nose is coffee and licorice. The initialy taste is cola and heavy carbination. After warming it in my hand for a while, it was still more like a soda, but not in an awful way. Enjoyable. Bit watery, but This is not an Impy. Thanks Suttree!
