35,5 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 19.12.2010
Aroma has coffee, licorice and hints of semi‐dark chocolate. Flavour has well roastred coffee, some chocolate and licorice. A porter for my liking. Could be more rich though.

12oz Bottle. Tasted at the RIFT Porter tasting. I thought this one fared well overall, giving a fresh clean malty body, but nothing about it really stuck out. The body is balanced, the roast is there to support, and the flavors are nice. Maybe a more subtle beer for a more focused time.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 JEK69 (137) - FRANCE - MAY 21, 2012
Pours black/red with a thin beige foam head.
Fantastic fudge/chocolate malty flavours with dried prune notes.
Nice smoothy mouth with a dry finish and subtle bitterness.
I really like traditional porter style when brewed at its best like this!
Cheers
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Marheb (675) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 17, 2012
Plutôt rouge sombre tirant vers le brun. Malt rôti, chocolat noir et caramel en arôme, un peu de fumé également. Elle est vraiment robuste et riche en sucre, très agréable en bouche.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 superspak (785) - Michigan, USA - MAY 16, 2012
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled 2/12/2012. Pours fairly crystal clear dark reddish brown color with a nice 2 finger fairly dense khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some decent lacing on the glass. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, biscuit, nuttiness, light coffee, slight fruitiness, and herbal hops. Very pleasant and balanced aromas with decent strength. Taste of chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, biscuit, toast, toffee, nuttiness, slight coffee, light fruitiness, and light herbal spiciness. Light bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of chocolate, caramel, biscuit, toast, and roasted malt on the finish for a good bit. Great balance of flavors, and a nice malt backbone; with no cloying sweetness at all. Medium carbonation and body; with a nice creamy and slightly slick mouthfeel. Very easy to drink with no alcohol presence other that a slight warming after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice porter. A good amount of robustness, with great flavor balance; and very enjoyable. Really well done.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Scipio (190) - Vernon Hills, Illinois, USA - MAY 10, 2012
Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a beige head. Aroma is more subtle. Chocolate, nuts, and roasty. Taste is very sweet. It is still roasted, yet a chocolate flavor appears and is dominant over others. Coffee undertones. Lighter with an oily texture. I think this is more like drinking candy than an actual beer. Much to sweet for my taste.
