COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional London style beer, our Black Jack Porter highlights chocolate malt and Kent Goldings hops. Its slight initial sweetness quickly yields to the distinctive roastiness of the chocolate malt. The Kent Goldings hops perfectly balance the malt, making it very smooth, with a surprisingly clean finish.

Lots of coffee and dark chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel. Good porter. Blah blah blah blah for 75 character requirement. --- Cheers

Aroma: chocolate, roasty, coffee Appearance: black, cloudy, frothy Taste: light sweetness, roast, slight chocolate and espresso Palate: full body, creamy, average carbonation, long finish Good quality porter. has many of the characteristics i’d look for, yet still maintaining a good safe taste. Classic Left Hand feel.

This pours almost opaque Mahogany with the deepest of walnut fringes. The head fully diminishes, leaving a thin ring of suds down the glass and trace lacing. The nose is of chocolate and coffee, slightly roasted. Sweet dark malt upfront, dark chocolate and some grains hitting the mid-palate, and finishing clean with a perfectly balanced bittering hop. The medium–full body goes down very smoothly, with a round mouthfeel and slick down the palate. Great complexity and substance in a highly drinkable porter. Very nice!

Bottle. Cola-like appearance, weak head. Roasty, slightly chocolaty aroma. Bland taste, somewhat dry mouthfeel. Not great.

Bottle pour. Pours a dark brown to black with a khaki colored head of foam. Good retention. The aroma is nicely roasty and sweet. I get hints at coffee and vanilla beans. The taste is rich and roasty. Medium mouthfeel with low to medium carbonation. I liked this beer a lot more than I expected to. Very good.

Flaske delt med Ovesen: fint men kortvarig skum. Bæraktig aroma med litt trøffelsjokolade. Smaken likeså i starten, som mot slutten går over i vaniljeaktig sjokoladepålegg. Litt for enkel.
