COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our latest offering attempts to address an old saying that has plagued mankind since its inception. Many times we’ve heard, "more is not always better". Invariably the person on the receiving end of such a statement scowls at the ramifications. Here at Left Hand we realize that life cannot be reduced to or understood in absolute terms. Our latest addition to our lineup attempts to take exception with such broad statements about the human condition. Chainsaw is a connoisseur version of our award-winning Sawtooth Ale, designed to befuddle silly generalizations about life. We hope you enjoy!

Aroma is sweetish with fruity hops and some caramel. Flavour is sweetish with caramel, some vanilla, spices, fruits and hops. And an ”American Strong Ale” ‐feeling. Good!

Draught. Pours a relatively clear amber color with a smallish head on it. Nose and taste are both fairly malty, yet has a bit of a bite to it. Very interesting drink...

On tap at Bennos. Pours reddish brown with a fine off-white head, some nice lacing. Aroma has pine, southern comfort and toffee. Taste is of cherries, a woodiness, some grassy hops and alcohol. Finishes with some length; sweet and syrupy, with alcohol. Complex and nice!

Reddish brown pour with an off white head. Aroma of sugary candy and toffee. Taste is caramel, earthy, and a little spicey. This was very enjoyable.

Pours an opaque deep amber with a medium tan head. Aroma has lots of candied fruits...alomost a mild vanilla...very lt pine. Flavor has a bit more pine...cuts the sweetness of the candied fruit...tastes like a barleywine. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is fruity/bitter and dry.

Draft at pony. Pours a clear amber red with off white lacing. Aroma is sweet chocolate and fresh hop, a very interesting combination indeed. Mouthfeel is medium and refreshing with notes of sweet chocolate malts, light fruit, booze, light hop and faint grass.
