beerbill (1374), Laurel, New York, USA Nov 21, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy brown with a thin off-white head that lasted through the first couple of sips and left very little lace. Mild aroma of malt and a bit of chocolate. The flavor is malty and more flavorful than the aroma suggests, but there is no sign of the chococlate foreshadowed in the aroma. Light bitterness at the finish. Overall, a decent, non-offensive brown ale. shadey (1364), Rochester, New York, USA Oct 31, 2008 12oz. Deep mahogany pour with a thin layer of white lace. The aroma is a rich nutty sweetness. The flavor is smooth and well blended. Nutty and caramelly.
