Commercial Description:
Deep Cover Brown Ale is brewed in the tradition of the brown ales commonly enjoyed in the U.K. Despite its reddish-brown color, it is light bodied and slightly sweet, making it a very drinkable and refreshing brew. Dark caramel malts lend this ale its rich color, while toasted and Munich malts provide just enough body to be truly enjoyable.

Spare head, and spare lacing. Hazy appearance. Heavy malt & light hops flavors. Light body, and thin texture.

bottle, pour very dark orange with a thick off white head, no lacing. Definite chocolate aroma, some bourbon as well, kind of reminds me of a faint GI bourbon county stout. Taste is smokey and chocolatey with slight alcohol mouthfeel. smooth palate for me, just like most browns. Very Very VERY average beer here.

12oz bottle. Pours a mostly clear, amber-orange colored body with a finger-width, frothy, tan head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is sweeter, hazelnut malts. A light cherry and some other fruits as well, but pretty weak overall. Flavor is slightly thin and watery up front. Nutty malts and a light cherry fruit mixture before this actually finishes with some flavor. Light, earthy bitterness and a toasty toffee make the finish somewhat enjoyable. Fairly dry with a medium length aftertaste. Overall, despite the enjoyable backend of this beer, there’s too much inconsistency throughout. Weak, nutty and malty aroma with a mostly thin, watery flavor. Eh...

Pours a light brown with little head. Very little taste and watery on the palate. Pretty disappointing

Bottle->honker: pours a white creamy, lasting head that exhibits good lacing atop a cloudy dark orange body. Aroma of root beer, sweet taste, medium body, astringent finish. Ok but not great.

Pours a hazy reddish amber with a thin, tan head that has little retention and no lacing. Aroma is sugary, malty, strawberry like a doppelbock. There is some strange wet dog/barn house/mustiness in there too. Taste is very weak: mostly seltzer water. Disappointing.

The best way I can recreate my experience with this beer is simply disappointment. The aroma is promising with hints of maple/molasses but the taste is just lacking. The beer lacks body, is watery, and has few hops. Dry finish. Not bad, but probably not going to buy another

pours amber brown with a medium lasting cap. light roast malt aroma, some sweet nuttiness flavour has caramel and maple syrup tones, more of the faint roasty tones and a very light bitterness in the finish as well. Body is a bit light though.

Bottle. Muddled Brown pour, little head. Generic Brown ale. Malty aroma, very thin. Aftertaste was not good. Pedestrian at best
