Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

Appearance is crystal clear golden with a minimal white foam cap. Aroma is grassy and ginger, with the ginger overpowering any malt aroma. Taste is a light, grainy malt that gives way to distinct ginger root flavor and a crisp hop bite. Mouthfeel is very light and highly carbonated. Finishes very dry with a little ginger and malt left on the tongue. I guess this is what it’s supposed to be, but that doesn’t make it something I want to finish.

Golden yellow in the glass with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of citrus (lemon) and ginger. Light bodied with ginger and cereal grain flavors. Refreshing.

Light color. Slight ginger aroma. lightly sweet with a hint of ginger. Not a very complex beer. Glad I tried it, but probably not going to try it again.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden amber with a big fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus hops, yeast, grass, and a hint of ginger. Taste is light and crisp, starts with a ginger bite, with grass and yeast. Lingering watery yeast and malt. The ginger sparkles on the tip of your tongue. Needs more ginger but not bad.

Very interesting but not too special. There are strange hints of ginger and it is quite creamy in general.

Some ginger aroma and flavor but not nearly as much as the foley brothers one had from foley brothers. Not as balanced as that ginger beer either. Has an odd aftertaste. Descent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BBD 9/22/14. Clear amber pour that has just a touch of garnet with an acceptable head. Lacing and retention are typical for the style and fade away after a few minutes. The magnificent nose is of ginger over a biscuit background sweetness. Light medium body that is nice and smooth in texture. Above average carbonation with a strong burst of effervescence on the finish. The flavor profile is quite nice and focuses on ginger. It delivers the ginger at just the right level and balances it against a toasty slight biscuit sweetness. It finishes with a crisp effervescent burst of ginger and hop flavor over biscuit. An outstanding clean crisp use of ginger.

Disappointed in this one. Hardly any flavor other than ginger. It's a nice amount of ginger, it's just that nothing else is there. Wouldn't get it again, but glad I tried it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
