COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Ginger, cereal grains and some spice on the nose; follows onto the palate. Nice light beer.

Some ginger aroma and flavor but not nearly as much as the foley brothers one had from foley brothers. Not as balanced as that ginger beer either. Has an odd aftertaste. Descent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BBD 9/22/14. Clear amber pour that has just a touch of garnet with an acceptable head. Lacing and retention are typical for the style and fade away after a few minutes. The magnificent nose is of ginger over a biscuit background sweetness. Light medium body that is nice and smooth in texture. Above average carbonation with a strong burst of effervescence on the finish. The flavor profile is quite nice and focuses on ginger. It delivers the ginger at just the right level and balances it against a toasty slight biscuit sweetness. It finishes with a crisp effervescent burst of ginger and hop flavor over biscuit. An outstanding clean crisp use of ginger.

Disappointed in this one. Hardly any flavor other than ginger. It's a nice amount of ginger, it's just that nothing else is there. Wouldn't get it again, but glad I tried it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nose is moderately ginger and not much of anything else. A faint malt character but that’s it. Pours a very clear, light yellow color with minimal head. Taste is mostly ginger but not obnoxious. Tastes like real ginger and not artificial garbage. A little sweet in the finish but otherwise ok. I just don’t care for ginger I guess. Or at least like it with other flavors to compliment it.

Nice gold/orange color; Light to medium creamy body; Aroma malt/yeast, ginger, some caramel, & spice; Flavor of slight sweet malt/biscuit, caramel, ginger, and some hops; Not too bad.

This was not a good beer, it tasted like not very sweet ginger ale, all the taste is just a bit of ginger with slight hops on the back. Very bland

Aroma of ginger and a little hops. Thin white head, very light body and color. Refreshing is the overall impression I get.

12 fl oz bottle from Potsdam NY, served cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear amber with a decent white head. Aroma: Strong, pungent, zingy ginger, comes off like ginger snap cookies. Palate: Medium+ body, fairly lively carbonation. Flav.: Lots ’o ginger, that’s pretty much it; dry with minimal bitterness and a big ginger finish.

Ginger. No thanks.

A nice color, nearly no head and a pleasant mild ginger taste. Overall the beer is very mild and light.
