Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

Bottle, 12oz. A clear one, well, slightly hazy, golden in color and with a white head leaving some lacings. Mostly ginger on the nose, with some orange peel. Ginger flavor too, with a good bitterness and some orange. Medium to full body, a bit heavy carbonation I think. Quite dry. Long flavor with ginger overpowering orange, leaving very little room to anything else except some bitterness. Ginger can be a nice addition to a pale ale, but I want it subtle, not running the show. 130821

Pours clear golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt and ginger. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long ginger finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Pours a dark orange/yellow with an average size foamy white head. The aroma of ginger is pronounced along with floral notes. Taste is dry from start to finish. Ginger throughout. Not a big malt presence and a little bittering from the hops in the finish to make the end clean crisp and dry. Kind of watered down ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Totally enjoyable and refreshing, if a bit thin. But Iíll take thin in this case, as Iím happy with a low abv alternative that can stand up to spicy foods or be quenching on its own. Taste is clean and fresh as opposed to sometimes artificial undertones in beers infused with alternative flavorings (yeah, Iím talking to you hell or high watermelon, although i still like you...)

7/04/2010: Left Hand Good Juju Ginger... Aroma: Ginger and spice; straw. Appearance: Murky dull gold color; minimal off-white crown. Flavor: Spicy cooked ginger, fairly light and not overwhelming; fades to general spiciness with a hint of citrus; pale and biscuit malts; clean overall. Palate: Medium-light; well-carbonated without becoming too light or fizzy. Overall: Ginger is more reserved rather than being hot and in your face making this a good, easy to drink beer.

Pours coppery and clear, smells of ginger; taste is missing something be it more ginger or some sort of citrus, lack of flavor over powers the positives ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Food pairing - @lefthandbrewing Good JuJu w/ Pulled pork BBQ sandwich, vinegar slaw and pickled cucumbers. The perfect ale for strong tastes like barbeque & Chinese, lending a gentle spice of ginger that accentuates without overstepping. Bonus with ginger as a digestive aid. Definitely recommend. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
