3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Food pairing - @lefthandbrewing Good JuJu w/ Pulled pork BBQ sandwich, vinegar slaw and pickled cucumbers. The perfect ale for strong tastes like barbeque & Chinese, lending a gentle spice of ginger that accentuates without overstepping. Bonus with ginger as a digestive aid. Definitely recommend.

Bottle from a friend. Lots of ginger on the nose. Fresh taste with lots of ginger also citrus and what reminds me of lime. Iíve had similar beer with Asian food before and that is when it shows itís true colours. So my guess is that it will be better with some spicy Asian food, preferably south east asian.

Not bad for a ginger. A bit flat on malt. Just tastes like a thin beer with ginger. Overall drinkable.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden to amber color, medium short lived head. Aroma was of fresh ginger root, lightly bready. Flavor much the same, dry, bready with ginger as a side note, giving a spicy peppery character at the finish. Well built but just canít say Iím in love with ginger in beer, and the base beer is pretty uninteresting. Seems as if the beer was made to be neutral and showcase the ginger and it just isnít something I love. Maybe ginger could work if used in a base beer that had some other thing going for it.

Draught at Dig Beer. Spicy, ginger and citrus nose. Deep gold color. Sweet and spicy flavor, ginger, malty. A bit dull.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy golden color with a thin white head that leaves light lacing. Smells of ginger, light hops and malts. Tastes of all the same things Iím the smell. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with good carbonation. Overall this is a tasty beer thatís good for summer. I can see why it has some bad reviews. Itís not a flavor everyone could enjoy.

I am not really a fan of ginger, but I am a fan of the brewery. This beer is very much a ginger beer from nose to mouth. It is crisp and clean tasting, with a good head and light body.

Bottle. Pours a light orange amber with a thin white head. Aroma of fresh ginger, lemon and light hops. Flavor was pale malts, ginger, grains, bread and had a touch of caramel.
