Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

Aroma is malty with strong ginger notes. Pours light golden colored with very little head. Light malty flavor at first then strong ginger finish and the flavor lingers well after swallowing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg @ Brewdog, Birmingham. Pours hazy orange, thin foam head. Aroma is Jamaican Ginger Cake, taste continues. For the record, I love Jamaican Ginger Cake. Ergo, I love this beer.

I hope you like ginger? And flat beers? Aroma of ginger (hmm?). Taste is sweet malts with ginger that grows more and more in the aftertaste. My bottle was also almost flat, dunno if that’s how it’s supposed to be?

Clear, golden pour with a small, white head. The aroma has light cereal grains. It has a light, thin body with lively carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a semi-dry finish.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Colour of Irn Bru. Small halo of white. Some sweet malts. Hint of ginger biscuit. Taste is light, spicy sweet. Turns light dry. Modicum of heat on the palate. Light body. Crisp fizz. Drinks easy as Irn Bru. Not much going on, but pretty ok.

Poured into a perfect pint. 3.0 A: Clear medium yellow color. A little over one finger of fizzy white head. Retention is below average and just a wisp or two of lacing is left. 3.25 S: Pickled ginger and a light maltiness. That’s about it. I love ginger, so smells good enough for me. 3.25 T: Taste is more of the same. Plenty of ginger and some neutral maltiness. 3.5 M: Light to lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Moderately creamy and super smooth. 3.5 D: I will probably drink this more than my scores suggest. While it isn’t a great beer overall, it has a lot of ginger in it, which is a flavor I can’t get enough of. ★ 640 characters DavoleBomb, Jul 11, 2013

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Golden yellow pour o a big white head. Ginger overwhelms on the nose along with crackers and toasted pale malts. Light to medium but refreshing body. Sweet and gingerly in the taste. Clean finish. You got to like ginger to like this one.
