COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

Marvelous. Just what I like in a beer. Seriously. I could drink this stuff ALL DAY!! Low alcohol, with only the faintest whiff of ginger (but it’s there). Murky, opaque ale with lots of yeast and malt. Not a hop to be found. I MUST buy more of this lovely nectar.

Cool beer. Certainly a pale ale in body and color. Nice white head that hangs around. The aroma is just intoxicating, ginger, fresh bread, and some cumin perhaps? Any way you cut it excellent beer and does wonderfully with asian and indian cusine, something very few beers can accomplish.

A very surprising ale. Nice and mellow and a light body with golden coloration and thin white head. I really enjoyed the ginger to this pale ale and it was not sweet like I thought, this is a summer brew all the way.

Cloudy golden-amber colour. Fresh gingery-hoppy aroma. Fresh character, lots of ginger, fruity esters and light citrusy hop. The malts are mild and pale, providing just enough structure to balance but not enough to overwhelm the refreshing character. I like it.

Bottle. Pours lush and golden with amber highlights. Aroma is cotton candy. Flavor is nice and gingery, with a sour offset to balance the sweetness. Notes of orange, lime, and grapefruit also. Palate soothes the savage tongue. Great beer!

22 oz bottle: large spongy, slowly sinking, off-white head. Strong, aromatic ginger, with hints of orange cinnamon . . . almost smoky. Well carbonated and lively on the tongue. Spicy and well rounded ginger flavours – extremely fresh. . . root vegetables and more tasty ginger. A long dry finish with pepper and anise is a perfect complement to my green bean stir-fry and gyoza dumplings.

Nice beer over all. Nice gold color with a head that lingered. Ginger worked well with the malt. Low hop profile that compliments the ginger. Good beer for sipping on a spring or summer day.
