COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Aroma of ginger, pepper and grassy hops. Flavor - well, it’s just a light ale with a touch of ginger in the finish. Kind of disappointing after the nice aroma. light body.

Its OK. Pours like a ginger ale in color, not much white head. Smells of orange and slight ginger juice. Sweet, hint of ginger, a little nutmeg, but that’s about it. Interesting but could be way better on the mouth feel and by upping the taste to it. Otherwise blah.

Pours a bubbly clear hold on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave light lacing. Aroma is fresh ginger and bready grains. Taste is a ginger spice pale ale with no go presence, just malted grain. Decent, but nothing awesome.

Ginger aroma and some taste. Overall disappointing. Probably would work on a hot day but not otherwise. Can’t see myself drinking more than one at a time.

Muted aroma, with a slight hint of spice and yeast. Very lively mouthfeel, light body. Ginger doesn’t come through until the finish. Ok.

12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, best before 9/7/2013. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of lemon zest, ginger, honey, bread, floral, grass, light clove, light caramel, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of ginger, hop, and malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, ginger, honey, bread, floral, grass, light caramel, light clove, and herbal earthiness. Lingering notes of lemon zest, ginger, honey, bread, floral, light clove, and light caramel on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance of malt, ginger, and light hop flavors; with a fair amount of flavor robustness, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a smooth and crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming noticed after the finish as expected. Overall this is a nice spiced session beer. Good balance of malt, ginger, and hop flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

On tap, poured a clear bright yellow hue w/ big foamy bright white head and sticky lacing. Big ginger aroma. Taste is ginger, biscuit, and honey. Light bodied, average carbonation, and watery mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at craft ale house. Pours hazy yellow with minimal head. The aroma is ginger ale almost Canada dry. You can smell the cheapness. The taste follows with a light ginger ale taste. Maybe for a corona drinker .

Bottle. Pours yellow with white head. Smells very gingery. Tastes much more wheaty with a weird ginger finish. Bleh. No good.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with minimal head. Aroma is moderate ginger. Flavor is ginger up front with a very mild malt/grain finish. Mild ginger aftertaste that lingers but leaves your palate relatively cleansed. The gingers strengthens as it warms. Flavor is interesting and relatively unique but it’s definitely one dimensional. Soft to moderate carbonation. light body, and slightly watery texture. An interesting beer, though not as good as I remember.
