Bottle. Poured a hazy golden color. Aroma of wheat and malt. Taste is like an uncooked roll.

Capped this beer and caught a very strong whiff of banana and wheat. Took a swig and tasted cloves, wheat and spice. Dry brisk finish. Not the best hefe I’ve ever had but Ok.

This bottled brew bottled on 6/28/06 from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a very hazy strong bubbly carbonation light orange brown colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was malty and wheat. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt fruity and wheat. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

I wanted to rate this beer higher because I have a thing for Left Hand Brewing Co. but this beer had an overwhelming and unpleasant wheat taste. They weren’t kidding with the name. It was like drinking a haystack of wheat.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very murky yellow brown with a fine white head that retains and laces the glass.

The aroma is wheat, banana and cloves.

The flavor is sweet bready malts and lots of banana with some citrus and light spices. The mouthfeel is medium with sharp carbonation and slightly watery.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. It is a light and unadventurous hefe, but it is decent.

Poured a dark yellowish-orange; fizzy medium head. Sweet aroma, of yeast, bublegum, and banana. Flavor of banana and wheat; not much spice, but some. Some tartness during the finish. Palate was good; medium body.

Bottle marked bottled on 06 28 06. Fizzy white small head that all but diminished, no lacing, mostly transparent with a slight haze, fast rising carbonation, and a golden hue. Nose was banana, spicy, clove, and wheat. Flavor was sweet, banana, spicy but not overdone, and wheat. Smooth mouthfeel and somewhat creamy. Light body. There are better out there of this style, but this one was decent and quaffable.
