As I had no proper glass, I drank straight from the bottle. Therefore I can’t speak for the head or color. The nose was very enticing even through the incomplete view of the bottle opening - spicy, with a hefty slab of coriander and an alcohol zing reminiscent of a Belgian trippel. Heavy citrus and lemon notes made me raise an eyelid in interest. Unfortunately, everything after the nose held no interest to me whatsoever. The initial taste was watery and ephermal, the opposite of what I want in a nice wheat beer. The middle taste was dusty and sour with an acrid, unpleasant alcohol taste. The aftertaste had just enough of a licorice flavor to deliver a welcome coup de grace to this disappointment of a beer.

Nice representative of the style. A little thin in flavor but not a bad brew.

A slightly hazy golden/light amber pour with a light head and good lacing. With a slight fruity aroma laced with clove. A light clove flavor. Not the normal harsh bitter that accompany many hefe’s. A nice palate and smooth carbonation. A very nice hefe.

Draught at the WBF in Raleigh. Hazy, golden appearance, with nice white head. Typical hefe, with a nice yeasty aroma, touch of citrus, clove and banana. Above average.

Decent enough, with a strong flavor of banana bread, nice medium bodied, with some spicy clove flavors, and some well balanced acidity. Banana bread and breakfast cereal, with a hint of citrus rind squeezed over the top.

Pours light golden with an effervscent body and a thin foamy white head. Aroma is light banana, wheat, and slightly metallic. Taste is banana, citrus, and light bread dough. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium/high carbonation. A good wheat beer that falls short of greatness.
