Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 22, 2008 Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of citrus, as well as medium notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet with strong ntoes of wheat, which carries on all the way to the dry finish. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 31, 2002 Golden coloured, slightly hazy. Clean flavour with hint of banana. Not bad, but I like the more estery versions better. Papsoe (10517), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 4, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Hazy golden with a creamy, white head. Aroma of yeast and banana. Medium-bodied with lots of great fruit esters - loads of banana and citrus. Dry, lightly sulphurous finish. This is a genuine Hefe and furthermore an excellent representative of the style. Proof that American brewers indeed can make decent wheat beers. 020406 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 19, 2000 Updated: Nov 17, 2007I loved the old Tabernash Weisse. That was a long time ago. The decendent of that beer is Left Hand Haystack Wheat. Bottle procured at Bottleworks.
