Commercial Description:
Jackman's American Pale Ale is brewed true to the style - medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing, with plenty of hop flavor and hop aroma. It's noticeable hop bitterness is contrasted by the spicy and floral characteristics of the highest quality hops grown in the U.S.

Not a huge fan of left hand but this pale ale was easy drinking and enjoyable. I like the bitterness of this beer. Very average but very drinkable.

Everything is a little muted, with nothing that really stands out. A middle of the road pale, with many better, many worse.

Big hop aroma with a hint of something that reminds me of sulfur (aroma and taste). Pours a hazy light orange/amber. An even hops bitter from start to finish that is pleasant. Palate is a little watery but not bad. Overall a pretty good beer.

This is the first beer I have encountered from this brewer. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright copper color with a small yellow-tan head. The aroma is sour nut and piney hops. The flavor is sour nut and vague sour hops. Acceptable but nothing special.

On draft at Issac Newton’s. Pours orange\copper with a decent sized white head. aroma of piney hops, citrus, and sweet malts. Flavor is citrus, slightly carbonated, sweet upfront with a bitter hoppy finish. Good body, decent brew.

Clear orange pour with a fluffy white and lasting head. Hoppy aroma, mostly citrus. Very citrusy and grapefruit taste. Some floral notes in the middle and a citrusy, moderately crisp finish. Not much malt to speak of, which is kinda sad, it would have helped a lot. One dimensional, but if you like hops, it’s pretty good. Mild, but not watered down. Try it.

It was a cloudy orange in color with a spare head. It was very similar in taste to the Sawtooth, but a touch lighter. It had a bit of an orange taste.

Copper in color, with a foamy white head that sheets over and laces the glass. Citrusy, floral, hoppy flavor. More hops than I expected. A nice crispy, spicey, hop bite. Palate is full-bodied, and creamy textured, with a long finish.
