Taste is very light, crisp and a tiny bit dry. Smell is a bit sweet, with hints of citrus and ginger. After taste is a bit bland and watery; actually reminds me of the last 1/3rd of a can of semi-warm Keystone

Frothy white head does not last. Funky aroma that smells a bit sour. Not a lot of flavor on either the hops or the malt side. Not even a particularly strong ginger flavor. I like regular non-alcoholic ginger beer, so I thought this would be interesting to taste, but there’s really not much there. MoritzF (5122), Bochum, Germany
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 23, 2009 (bottle, 35.5cl) Hazy, orange to amber colour with a short and slightly yellow frothy head. Citrus-fruity and slightly woody hoppy aroma with a mild malty and spicy background. Slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft malty body with noble hops character; dry and slightly bitter and fruity hoppy finish with present ginger spice. Might be a good thirst quencher in the summer. 21.XII.09 Narnad (726), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Pours a very clear, golden color with low amounts of carbonation and a moderately dense head that fades down to a very thin filmy white head. Aroma has a ginger presence mixed with a very grainy base malt sweetness and finishes with a grassy note. Flavor is overpowered by a heavy ginger root note, not a sweet ginger ale type of flavor. A sweet grainy note, a light grassy hops presence are present with it finishing out with a very pronounced green tea type of flavor and texture. The brew has a very light density associated with it, a very clean crisp texture to it and very low carbonation present. Overall the flavors worked well, very clean but I find the ginger to be a bit too much. Although I am not a big ginger fan, I still say this is a decent brew to give a try. deyholla (786), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 6, 2009 This is my first beer rating in my new house! Believe it or not, I know live on PORTER ROAD. I picked up this Left Hand mix 12pack at one of 2 good beer stores nearby. I now have a store on my drive home that stocks Founders, Left Hand, Alesmith, and many Belgians. This beer is refreshing with just a hint of ginger and almost no hops. I would have liked it better if they bumped up the ginger and hop flavs. This is still enjoyable with a crisp finish. I think that it cleared up my cough too. Ha
