3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (12oz). Courtesy of my secret santa. At a decent temperature, poured an incredibly deep, almost opaque ruby with a large fluffy-foamy tan head, lasted quite a while. Nice rich nutty roast malt aroma, some cafe au lait and a very mild hint of chocolate, faint herbal hops, nice and dry but definitely roasty-sweet. The taste is very lactic, soft sweetened coffee with lots of cream, nutshell roast malt, some bitterness trying to balance, but it finishes sweet and rich, if a touch mild. Fairly thick and creamy mouthfeel, light carbonation, nice soft finish on the palate, feels very nice - overall somewhat mild, but on-style and no flaws to me (I often get metal in this style).

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle served cold, at Electro Lounge, Good malty aroma, warm and rich flavor, very creamy and chocolatey, light to no hop presence, but very malty and chocolate with touches of carmel. Pours nice and dark with moderate brown head. Palate is lghter than I would have expected. Not too bad at all.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Creamy, mild chocolatey taste, with a hint of sweet caramel. Not as robust as I would expect, but is refreshing and enjoyable. Some roasted malt with a mild hop finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Thanks Kenb. Aroma light coffee and toasty malts. Poured a nice dark black with a tan head. Flavor is good, lactic sugars mix nicely with the coffee and malt base. Palate is easy drinking smooth. What’s not too like?

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2006 Wow, this brew is great. Tastes almost like chocolate milk. Definatley smells like it. Has a nice milk chocolate color with a small tannish head. Would be perfect on a cold night, too bad we never have those here.

Incredible stout. The title does not lie, it really does remind one of chocolate milk. Thick malty/molasses nose. Body is creamy and smooth with some sweetness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A thin looking dark brown pour, with an aroma of coffee and toasted malt. A slightly sweet flavor with chocolate and coffee. A nice bitter finish. A much fuller palate than expected. A pretty good middle of the road stout. A beer I would drink a sixer of anytime.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught@Redbones, Boston. This was decent, but perhaps a touch sweet. Some nice chocolate and caramel sweetness, slightly sugary. Finish is roasty enough and dries it up a little bit, which makes it pleasant to drink.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2006 12 oz bottle. Average size bubbly amber head leaving a lot of lace. Dark brown almost black (with a deep red tint) color brew. Very plesant toasted sweet malty caramel and vanilla aroma. Lightly roasted chocolate/caramel/coffe flavors with a hint of fruitiness (not sure what fruit...raisins or plums maybe.) Creamy smooth mouthfeel. Medium body.
Very nice bitterweet mocha aftertaste. Could stand to be just a bit thicker, but overall a very plesant sipping experience.
