This has a nice pour, a dark, clear mahogany with repectable light tan head. Not bad in the lacing department, either. The aroma is a roasted malt-coffee-barley combo with a slight nutty bitterness. Very pleasing, creamy mouthfeel. It tastes of coffee & cream, roasted malts, and a splash of milk chocolate. A sessionable Stout, to be sure.
Rating #3200. Nice music.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours black with some red around the edges and a medium cream colored head. Aroma is nice and roasty. Taste is nice and roasty as well, with big cofee flavors, but a tad watery, and with a nice roasty/bitter finish. Not overly sweet or anything, very good.

Not your average stout...but the coffee effect is a little overdone. By that I mean the taste of coffee covers up some of the beerness. Smooth drinking and fairly aromatic but feels like candy not beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark dark brown with a coffee colored head. Has a sweet chocolaty aroma. Very sweet and smooth. Coffee and chocolate predominate the taste with a slight molasses note. Very glad to see this one in NE finally.

WOW I love this beer, Very easy drinking and just a hint of sweetness, to me stouts are usually something to only drink one a night but this one has excellent drinkability.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark brown body with a small, fading tan head. The aroma is light and slightly tart with milk chocolate and molases. The flavor is mildly sweet with somewhat of a sour mash quality, chocolate and lactose. Medium/light body is very thin and watery with a touch of chalkiness on the finish.

Attractive black pour with substantial tan head that fluffs up and then lingers forever. The nose is coffee, chocolate milk and licorice. The flavors follow pretty much as anticipated by the aroma...coffee, chocolate milk, licorice, and a very creamy (milkly) mouthfeel that feels fairly luxurious on the tongue. There is a noticable tartness/sourness in the finish that I’m not sure was intended. OK.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours black with a small brown head. Relatively weak aroma, but had a sour base. Quite smooth flavor with roasted malt as the lasting taste and good tingely mouthfee. Creamy flavor with hints of coffee, chocolate and a smokey base. Overall a very quality beer was silky smooth and relatively light for a stout.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
For a milk stout the cream note was very light and not a sweet as expected otherwise a good chocolate flavor, would try again.
