Jun 28, 2008 I enjoyed this beer alot. Poured dark and sily smooth with a nice creamy head. Taste was agin like silk and very refreshing for a stout. Comparable to the duck-rabbit beers but not as tasty.

Jun 27, 2008 Bottles at & from Microbar, Clapham. Very dark brown with a small head. Aroma like chocolate milk and the chocolate & coffee flavour you expect from a milk stout. Not complex, but a damn good bash at the style. Very smooth and nicely drinkable.

Jun 26, 2008 This beer pours jet black with an ample head. The aroma is malty. The flavor is your typical stout with a big boost of sweetness. It tastes of chocolate and coffee. The carbonation seems a touch high, but the body is heavy. This is a good milk stout.

Jun 26, 2008 Black pour with a light tan head. Malty roasted grain aroma with milky lactic acid and touch of raisins, coffee, and chocolate. Roasted almost burnt malt flavor with milk and cream. Very dry - no sweetness. A little bit thin.

Jun 24, 2008 Bottle (12oz) shared with and courtesy of GregClow. Pours a very deep ruby-brown with an average size creamy tan head. Aroma’s roasty and milky along with light green hops and some coffee. Flavour’s roasty and lactic along with some light hops and I’m getting a bit of ’metal’ or ’bottle’. Light bitter finish. Average bodied. It’s fine, I’d drink it again but I don’t think i would buy it -- an average Stout.

Jun 21, 2008 On draft at Tank’s Tap Room in Tampa. Poured dark black but not thick with a nice frothy/creamy head. Mix of cream or milk, and dark caramel, coffee, and chocolate.

Jun 20, 2008 Pours dark black/brown with a small brown head, as I believe a good stout should.
What this beer lacks in aroma, it makes up for everywhere else.
Perfectly balanced roasted barley and sweet, sweet malt. Little hop intervention, which surprisingly doesn’t bother me at all in this particular brew.
I love it I love it I love it. Too bad it was gift from my folk’s trip to colorado.

Jun 16, 2008 Updated: Jul 27, 2008Bottle. Very dark, red-brown pour with a thick tan head. Big ole aromas of toffee, dark chocolate, and toast. Those flavors too, plus wood smoke and coffee with cream. Wish I’d bought more than one!
