COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style of beer, also known as Sweet Stout or Cream Stout, first appeared in London in the late 1800’s. The early brewers touted the health benefits of the milk sugar in this beer which today relates mainly to the increased amount of calories(no real health benefits…sorry). The milk sugar adds a well rounded sweetness to this dark beer and makes it an outstanding, year ‘round stout.

Ohhhh balls is this smooth. Milky. Mellow chocolate, almost fluffy. Nutty aftertaste, head spinning after crushing 3 beers this hour. Faint fading bitterness that changes into a choco bitterness on the softest of finishes. Softest drink I’ve had in years. Growing heavy roast almost burnt not smoky. Filling up. Very enjoyable. Would love to have this available locally.

Black with a thin mostly dissipating light brown head. Very inviting aroma. Chocolate, soft roast, lactose. Pleasant sweetness. Bigger light to lighter medium body. Nice mixture of mild sweetness and roast. Mild bitter. Smooth, slick, creamy. Hints of darker roast and licorice show in the finish. Solid all around, polished, enjoyable milk stout.

Nitro version, bottle. One of my all time favorites. Cocoa, bit of toasty coffee with the smooth milk. Awesome. Strong dense head, nearly black and rich.
