Nice beer, bit on the sweet side, but not overly sweet, considering it’s a milk stout.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This Milk Stout Nitro was purchased at a Trader Joes. The beer has a slight roasty aroma with hints of molasses, minor chocolate and coffee notes. Appearance is dark, near black as expected with decent light brown head. Taste was moderate bitterness with creamy mouthfeel,

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nitro bottle. Pours dark amber, very nearly black, with little head but a little lacing. Smells of chocolate and malt, rich and appealing. Taste is a little less milk stout and more stout to me. Taste goes from something like molasses to slightly bitter. Overall it isn’t bad.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 fl. Oz bottle poured into pint glass. Appears dark brown with soft 1/2 finger tan head. Smells like milk chocolate with brown sugar. The taste is chocolate, roast coffee, and caramel. The palate is a bit thin for my mouth. Overall, it's not a bad sweet stout.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I poured this milk stout hard into a glass, dull and almost black in appearance with a small dark head. Initial aromas are sweet coffee and hints of chocolate. After the head clears, it leaves small traces on the glass. The sweet aroma disappears fast, and you are left with a subtle coffee smell. This milk stout is medium bodied and is mild tasting. initially sweet, but the coffee and caramel favors take over and continue on to the aftertaste. This beer has a seemingly high drinkability, and is absolutely delicious. Glad it isn’t too sweet.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured hard into a pint glass. Pours nearly black with a chocolate colored head, with a symphony of bubbles that eventually turn it into a frothy cream colored head. This beer is fun to watch settle into the glass. Aroma is milk chocolate, cream, coffee bean, and vanilla. Taste is cappuccino, roasted malts, and a hint of milk chocolate. Pretty much what you’d expect from the aroma. Palate is a little thinner than you’d expect but it’s velvety smooth going down. Overall, this beer is extremely enjoyable and one of my go-to beers when I want something I know is going to be a solid bet.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A creamy texture, with balanced notes of sweet dark chocolate, bitter coffee and roasted caramel malts above and enticing hop backbone. Meduim-bodied and less filling than more commercial stouts like Guiness, and at 30% higher abv.
