4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2016 Bottle. Black color. Sweet, bright, forward effervescent aroma. Above average carbonation. Sweet coffee and caramel flavors. Delightful, very smooth. A great beer! Far better than the Nitro draft version of this beer, which scores 33% lower in every criterion, including the overall rating.
Nitro draft version: Black color. Muted hop aroma. Very fine bubbles, frothy head. Sweet, hoppy flavor. Relatively simple flavors for a stout. Slightly bitter finish.

13/20 not as creamy as I would have liked, but it's smooth enough and decent taste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nitro version. Pitch black with medium brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, a hint of coffee and lots of roasted malts. Taste is medium coffee bitterness with a little dark chocolate sweetness. Not so full body, though long finish of dark chocolate, maybe nuts or wood as well. Quite watery mouthfeel. Alright.

No stout has come close to this! It’s definitely my favourite, along with its brother Nitro. So smooth with soft carbonation that doesn’t ruin the flavours. Beautiful chocolate, coffee, cream notes and a sweet aftertaste.

Coffee notes, not too sweet, had the nitro version, although I’m not sure what the point is.

355 ml bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt (dark coffee) and a light sourish note. Medium to full body with a creamy and flowery mouthfeel and a strong to heavy sweetness and low carbonation. Flavor full of roasted malts - brown suggar and dark coffee; maybe some wood and spices. Excellent.
