4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
As close to perfection as I have had. Perfect black color, ultra smooth body (nitro is my fav). Goes down like chocolate milk.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
BBD 12/16/15. Pours dark as a starless night. Poor head volume, outstanding retention and lacing.
Outstanding nose of chocolate, caramel and hints of vanilla and roast.
Medium body with a smooth texture that has creamy moments. Almost no effervescence. Apparently, this bottle leaked it’s nitrogen. Appearance and palate scores have been adjusted based upon peer reviews.
The flavor profile is outstanding. Intensity is reasonable, fairly complex and superbly balanced. It begins with the classic stout flavors, albeit in a muted fashion. Light roast and hints of coffee waif over milk chocolate along with caramel. The middle brings a subtle bitterness, mostly from the roast, with a touch of coffee flavor. The finish is a long slow fade of sweet roast notes.

Look; beige film on black body. Aroma; flower, milk chocolate. Taste; roasted malts, black caramel, milky impression - leading to a fruity finish. On palate normal. Overall; name’s understood, it’s a milky way.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Definitely a milk stout. Silky smooth with strong milk flavor and smell. However everything else about it is fairly run of the mill. Definitely has the milk character it should but nothing much to offer me outside of that. Nitro bottles never work for me, only make a bitter pour with little to no head. On draft this stands a chance of being worth a try.

THE standard by which all milk stouts are judged, at least for me. Sure there are better, and certainly there are worse, but this is the measuring stick.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nitro version. Pours black, beautiful and persistent foamy head. Aroma has some soft roast, milky. Taste is also silky and you can feel the sweetish nitro working. Overall quite well done although not too special or spectacular.

Poors black with little head which dissipates quickly. Sweet as expected, malty with some coffee. Creamy on the palate with a little fizziness. Very easy to drink
