3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, black beer with almond colored head. Aroma is dried plum, rootbeer, coffee. Taste is sweet stout, hints of raisin, toasted barley, coffee. This is sweet, but not cloying. Palate is a bit thin, carbonation subdued.
Ok, drinking nitro version immediately after, and it seems like a different beer! Taste is more milk chocolate and cappuccino. Palate is a little thinner, but carbonation is soft as a cloud! I definitely precise the nitro version!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Best by date of 03.22.14.
Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 03.25.14.
A: Motor oil. Cream-colored head.
S: Coffee, milk chocolate, toffee. Sweet smelling.
T: Cocoa, coffee, toffee. It does have some roastiness and a hint of dark chocolate.
O: The roastiness nicely balances the sweetness. The toffee flavor was strong, which I liked.
