mansquito (576), Boston/Philadelphia, USA May 2, 2008 Pours really dark with a fat tan head. Aroma was nice, full of chocolate, sugars, and roasted malts. Taste was sweet and bitter at the same time. Tastes like candy and beer, but in a very good way. Pretty thick. A fun good beer.
troopie (444), USA Jul 26, 2008 Bottle. Poured black with a creamy beighe head. Light sweet malt aroma with a bit of milk. Full malty flavour with more sweetness. Bit of coffee in the medium finish. A lekker beer worth drinking. Montag (3), , Texas, USA does not count Jul 21, 2008 A good beer, though not the finest milk stout I’ve tasted. You can’t go wrong with this, but there is better, perhaps for the same price. The taste was strong and slightly hoppy without being bitter. tylerss20 (88), New Hampshire, USA Jul 19, 2008 Ultimately underwhelming. I had looked forward to this beer since a couple friends raved about it after trying a pint at Tapwerks in OKC. Dark pour, two finger mocha crown. Aroma is dry, roasty, heavy notes of coffee. After that it becomes very mediocre. Thin mouthfeel for such a dark beer, coffee laden flavor with medium sweetness and mild acidity. Not a whole lot of bang for the buck on this beer. Crit (2221), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jul 16, 2008 Clear dark brown, small tan head. Dry roast nose. Good roasted amlt profile with medium strength lasting bitterness in finish
Nice!! TrefwoordPunk (358), Leiden, Netherlands Jul 15, 2008 Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours pitch black with a small tan head and a sweet aroma. The taste is sweet and the mouthfeel creamy, the finish is a tad bitter, but mainly sweet too. I don’really like this, it is a bit too sweet for me
