COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

Taste is true to what a Oktoberfest beer should taste like in my opinion with easy drinking capability’s throughout and sweeter maltiness.

Caramel and toasted malt in the aroma. Beautiful light reddish brown color. Subdued taste, malty but I wanted stronger. Good octoberfest but I have had better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake Taniguchi). Toasted malt nose, with a bit of yeast, and some light spice. Copper/orange color. Light caramel, gentle roast, peaches, ripe apple, and some mild dark fruit. A hint of bittering in mid. Sweet flat finish. Thin-medium body. Pleasant and very drinkable.

Translucent copper red hue with a minimally sized white head. Satisfying aromatic qualities consisting of malt, caramel, butterscotch, nuts, nutmeg, biscuit, and cinnamon. Thin bodied and quite smooth. Malt, caramel, nutmeg, and cinnamon with alcohol and mild hop present in the finish. Nice smooth marzen.

Bottle at home. "Best By 12/5/14", so maybe a month past its prime. Amber pour. Aroma has caramel malt with a bit of pear and dried cherry. Good carbonation gives a slightly prickly mouthfeel. Sweet caramel malt dominates, with some subtle fruit notes. Adequately hopped for the style, with faint spice and cinnamon on the finish. A great Octoberfest.

Biscuity, malty and a touch of spiciness from the hops. Not a great example of the style, but not terrible either.

It pours amber with an off white head. The head produces lacing as it dissipates. It has caramel and hay aroma. It has a sweet, caramel like taste. It has a tinge on the palate that is metallic like.

BBD 12/4/14. Clear amber pour with a beautiful dark ruby cast. Normal head and retention, excellent lacing. Light nose of biscuit with caramel hints over a faint pear like citric note. Almost medium body with a distinct creamy texture. Heavier than most Oktoberfests, which is a plus. Above average carbonation with a nice effervescence throughout. The wonderful flavor profile is intense, complex and well balanced. It begins with a burst of biscuit against a caramel backbone that effervesces into a mild bitterness in the middle. The bitterness is herbal in nature (with a bit of rind), gives the tongue a nice tart pucker, then releases into pear notes. The finish is clean and leaves you with a mild bitterness over a faint biscuit sweetness that is somewhat dry. One of best!

Tap. Apples, sweetness, but not too much, caramel, cherry. Bit weird. Alright but not exactly a knockout.
