COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

12-oz bottle. Substantial head with rings of lacing. Clear amber color. Aroma sweet with a hint of apple. Uncomplicated flavor. Lightly malty and sweet. Feels a little watery. Finishes clean with mild tinniness.

12oz bottle from CBC. Pours mahogany with just a few off white bubbles. Aroma is caramel, brown bread, mild banana. Very low carbonation, nearly flat. Flavor is caramel, toffee, fruity esters.

Bottle. Amber-copper colored with a small diminishing white head. Aroma of sawdust and spicy rye bread. The taste conjures up images of spruce and rye. The palate is medium and appropriate for the style. Finished long and dry and a tiny bit astringent. Overall: I could drink this all day long its an immediate favorite. Decent brewski.

Bottle from Meditrina. Crystal clear light amber with lasting head and a little lace. Toasted caramel minerally earthy aroma. Toasted caramel sweetness with some toasted nuts grass bread. Mild minerally earthy finish with just a touch too much residual sweetness for my taste, possibly due to higher alcohol than it needs to be. Medium slick body. Pretty excellent/very good.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Smudged best by date but it looks like sometime in November 2016. Handsome medium amber pour under a quick lasting off-white head. Big sweet and malty presence in the aroma with a low to no hop profile. Sort of tobacco ester too. The body is around medium. The taste is malty and sweet with a slight burnt note and a mild bitter finale.

pretty good - hefty malt doses but nice clean finish. Appearance is quite red and clear. Nose of biscuits, cookie and caramel. Full palate. Enjoyable and true to style.

Pours clear copper, medium off white head. Aroma is malt, caramel. Flavor is bright, malty, soft caramel, light hops on the finish. Light, carbonated mouthfeel. Pretty decent lager.

Translucent amber with creamy beige head. Medium body with moderately high carbonation.

Aroma: herbal noble hops, bready malt, faint banana and acetone.

Taste: bready malt with weird dryness, dark bread crust, fruity melon berry notes, subtle herbal hop bitterness.

Draught at Burgermania. Sweet malt, caramel, cake, raisin, green hops, fairly smooth finish. Hoppier than usual for the style, quite tasty and enjoyable.

Source: 12 oz. bottle, cooled. Receptacle: 16 oz. dimpled mug, clean. Nice, straight-forward colors of light browns and thin reds and a shallow head of even thinner foam. Not privy if the purity order’s part of this recipe, or if it even matters, but, it do taste good enough that it does, to me, anyway.

12 oz. bottle served in a mug- Poured a transparent lightly darkened brown, light carbonation that made the liquid sit very still in the vessel. Aroma of toffee, caramel, and barley. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt has plenty of heft inspite of the initial feel upon the tongue, middle has only a slight amount of sweetness, finish has a small amount of earth and biscuit. Left Hand products used to be around here in TX quite a bit, had to pick this up in MI. I always liked them... what happened?
