COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

Bottle from Keg N Bottle: Poured a medium auburn/amber hue and was topped with a small layer of foam which quickly retreated. Aroma smells sweet with caramelized malt and also has a hint of tea leaf as well. The beer is crisp and clean and has all the flavors that could be expected from an Oktoberfest recipe. Okay stuff and a lot better than some of the other American made festbiers. Very pleased to get a sixer of this and so fresh. Still though sommer is not the season for marzen oktober fest bier.

12oz bottle. Rich reddish brown pour. Little lacing. Toasted malt aromas. Taste is more malt forward with lite toffee mild roast malts, followed by hop support. Making this on the mild honey sweet side. Its good, just nothing special.

12oz bottle shared. Poured more of a copper color with an off white head a nice lacing. The aroma is lots of malt somewhat sweet and mild hops overall typical marzen aroma. The flavor is very traditional but it has an edge to it on the bitter side. But it works very well. Overall this is quite tasty and I like it.

Bottle. Amber orange with small head. Medium body with toffee and light fruity sweetness. Light hops. Aboverage for style, but a bit more hops would make this exceptional.

Caramel and toasted malt in the aroma. Beautiful light reddish brown color. Subdued taste, malty but I wanted stronger. Good octoberfest but I have had better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light caramel, gentle roast, peaches, ripe apple, and some mild dark fruit. A hint of bittering in mid. Sweet flat finish. Thin-medium body. Pleasant and very drinkable.
