Very nice looking. Aroma is hay, leaves, vegetal. Little bit of sulfur. Taste is a bit metallic and bitter. Very authentic tasting in that it tastes a lot like most German pilsners - but those beers had to come all the way from Germany. I would guess that this beer tastes quite a bit different on draft. Seems to be a well-crafted beer, but I probably wonít pick up bottles again.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
27th May 2015: on-tap @ Pizza Port, Carlsbad and @ Surfside Tap Room, Oceanside. Drank to cleanse my palate which sipping stronger, darker brews (did not fancy using water). Most likely the best lager/pilsner based beer I had during my month in Southern California, I thought it looked the part: clean, clear and golden with a snow white topping. It was both crisp and dry in nature and although it had the usual weak pilsner aroma it had enough maltiness within the hop profile to stay true to itís stated German style.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours yellow with a nice foamy head at first that dissipates quickly. Light aroma, worth a decent taste and palate. Less generic beer flavor than a lot of pilsners Iíve had.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A very light refreshing lager. Aroma of Pilsner malts and some hops. Light yellow color that hints to the light crisp palate with strong carbonation. Nice blend of pale malts and a zesty hop finish. Very drinkable.

Smells like a pilsner...light and clear appearance... Taste is maltier and sweeter than other pilsners...very light bitterness in the middle...ends sweeter...one of best pilsners if not the best Iíve had...for my palate, could drink a few

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I enjoyed this beer as far as pilsners are concerned. It was very smooth, clear...pale yellow color. Not too much carbonation to give itís smooth texture, but just enough to have a decent fizz, with a light head. Tastes of mostly barley, a little yeast. A very good daytime beer or for in between darks.

Nice. Something to write home about? No. But a very good malt backbone. Recommended.
