A brilliant, refreshing lager; hand crafted using traditional method & ingredients. A zesty, German style pilsner with a dry, crisp finish.

Saw some reviews on this and was a little hesitant, but decided that I need to make my own decisions. Glad I did. The pale lemon liquid is very aromatic and topped with a soapy white head that sticks with a vengeance to the sides of the glass. Light sweet corn is the backdrop with an accent of hay and dough, and I’ve experienced that combo before, but this time it seems light and pleasant. The body is so light that it’s almost not there, but the taste is very present; slightly salty sour with an extremely short, dry finish. I’m not a fan of this style, but definitely this is one of the better that I have tried in the last few months. I would definitely reach for this again; an ice cold option for a hot summer day!

Clear very pale golden, almost solver bit of visible carbonation and a squirt if filmy head. Bit soapy tinfoil nose. Clean, light tinny lemon throughout. Punchy pale malt. Light citrus nash throughout dove tailing with a stern carbonation well. Finishes a well rimmed tinny lemon and light chalk smash on the linger. Bottle, Appellation Wines.

Pours a clear yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is sour grain and some grassy notes but mild overall. Flavor straw with some bready notes and light grassy hops with decent balance. Light body with medium carbonation. All right.

On tap in the Slaughtered Lamb. Looks like a lager, light yellowish, lots of bubbles. Clean tasting, crisp, long bitter finish. Moreish, dangerous at 5.5%. I actually thought this was pretty good. Not life changing, but pretty good. Now there are a lot of crap beers being called ’pils’ for want of anything else, and a lot of them live in the pilsener category on this site. And pils isn’t the easiest thing to brew well. But I don’t get the angst people seem to have against the pilsener style, lots of beers on here seem to lose half a point minimum just for having pilsener in the name. But a properly made pilsener can be hugely refreshing - clean, hoppy, bitter, dry, what’s not to like? This certainly isn’t in the worst 40% of all beers worldwide.

Not bad, its a little to floral for a pilsner for me. Left hand brewing is one of my favorite.
