3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 15, 2013 Has that somewhat sour, funky, peachy aroma that some pils have rather than the grassier variety. Carbonation is really, really good. Flavor - not as zesty as one might think based on style and aroma. I do agree with the brewer’s description of a dry, crisp finish, however - in fact, this is the best finishing pils I have had yet. Overall, remarkably easy to drink - I just would have liked a little more of a zesty kick at the beginning. Carbonation again is wowing me as I come close to finishing the bottle here. The mouthfeel is exceptionally pleasant. 5 on the palate. This is a terrific beer for hot summer days. I honestly enjoyed this way more than I was expecting, the way the bitterness and carbonation hang without overpowering. The finish is just fantastic. I think I want to look for a six-pack of these. EDIT: Picked up a six-pack a month later as expected, and not changing the rating here, but finding this particular batch to be much more grassy instead of peachy. Still crisp and tasty, though. Really like it either way.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
At Parsons Green with Harry. Clear gold lasting white head. It’s a decent enough pilsner. Pretty refreshing.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Piney hops with the harshness you’d expect in a larger. Not a great one to be honest.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Rated on 6-22-2013. This bottled beer pours a medium sized white head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, transparent body, very fizzy and fast rising carbonation, and a medium yellow hue. The Aroma is malty and semi-sweet. This beer taste lightly malty and very harsh. The Palate is tingly and this is a light-medium bodied beer. Overall and simply put, this beer is very harsh tasting and not a beer I will recommend or seek out again.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle at BrewDog Birmingham. Exceptionally clear and pale lager. Headless. Smells like third world pale lager - sweet and sweaty malt. Taste of faint marzipan but mostly water. Not good. Not the best thing BrewDog stocks.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
33 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear pale yellow with a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is straw, grains, and subdued hops. Flavour is much like the aroma – with a slightly bitter finish.
