3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
355ml bottle from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - pale lemon with a thin head which disappears fairly quickly.
Nose - big green vegetables, maybe some seaweed or samphire is probably closer.
Taste - green vegetables again which I didn’t expect. A very green spicy finish, almost like a green pepper.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish.
Overall - really odd with the green vegetables being bigger than expected.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: clear bright gold, one finger of creamy electric white head shrinking to a thin collar, minimal lacing. Aroma: sharp and grassy nose, with bright lemon, peppery, with crisp cereal grains, and light white toast. Taste: grassy, lightly herbal, with a white pepper note over some flaky pie crust . Finish: ends with a zing, medium bitterness, held up by a pleasantly soft body. Notes: Beer douche alert: I measure all American pilsners against Oskar Blues MLYP and North Coast Scrimshaw (he said pretentiously). While this wasn’t in that camp, as I prefer a bit more of a bready malt character, this was still pretty good. Aroma and palate were spot on for the style.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle from Wegmans, West Seneca, NY. A hazy straw pour with a ring of white head; grainy aroma with a trace of citrus zest; crisp taste, but rather sweet and a pleasant grainy body; with some reasonable grassy bitterness to finish. A reasonable pilsner.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 5/20
Considering how many good brews I have had from this brewery I was very disappointed in this one. Wasn't my favorite pils.
