I'm an IPA guy. That being said, this is an excellent lager. Crisp, light but full of flavor. Flavor is reminiscent of biscuity malt, with a pleasant light hop note. The color might be an throw off, but this is heads above most other beers with a light gold color. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer pours a brilliant light yellow color with a small white head, and it smells like lager yeast and light malts with an emphasis on the latter. The taste is mildly sour and a touch sweet, and this flavor is sustained through the finish; the mouthfeel has a light body, slick texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours crystal clear light gold. Almost no color. Pure white head. Nose is grain and spice. Taste is some lemon or sourdough. Fair amount of bitterness in the aftertaste.

Familiiar, spicy aroma from a pilsner, notes of bread with a touch of citrus. Pale yellow with a fine white head. Spicy, peppery hops first, then some sweet malt. It gets drowned out too quicly though byt the bitterness again. A little salty. More ballnace would make this top notch. Finishes dry, salty, and bitter. O.k.

I enjoy a lot of the beers from the left hand brewing company. I always find a Pilsner as a very drinkable beer.

I had this excellent American craft pilsner in Helsinki, where I reacted by saying "see, you CAN have hops in a lager!" (As most Finnish lagers seemed to be devoid of such). A rare treat this, a well made, fine tasting American CRAFT lager. I enjoyed the German taste notes being handled with such love and not caked in too many "new world" punk style flavors. A joy of a beer.
